I'm so excited for this, hopefully my half-country gets interested in it as well.  Though I don't see many nations confirming for a very first edition to be honest, but hey, we can mainly hope for at least 15 countries to compete. 
Btw, casually quoting this: "The Solomon Islands are formed of over 900 islands of which around half are inhabited. The country gained its independence from the United Kingdom in 1978 and is home to 642,000 people making it the 162nd most populous country in the world."From 642.000 people, there has to be at least 1 singer which can represent. It's not like Solomon Islands doesn't have any kind of musical talent hidden, and as mentioned previously, they've been in contests a couple few times. |

According to Wikipedia,  Norfolk Island, and even some European countries are able to participate , so that's really interesting |

The same way  Malta has been finding artists to represent them at Eurovision for 29 editions incuding national selections. Also,  Solom Islands have bigger population than  Malta |

Guys don't expect too much of Solomon Islands all they have is boring reggae and gospel music But yeah I'm really excited what they will bring as well and if they have any chance to not get last... |

They could have their song made by  Swedish composers, as if  certain European country hasn't done this all of its history |
