  Egypt confirms participation!
Cairo, Egypt - After the previous edition and the dissapointing results, the head of deligation decided to come back stronger in this edition, even though we're in the pre-qualification round.
This time Egypt is sending a song that is more dark and mysterious, more RnB, something that will be probably liked by the rest juries and the televoters.
Nefera will represent the country in the upcoming edition! With her song " She Said" "This song is very special to me", says Nefera, "as I had real fun while recording and writing it. Everything just came up perfectly and I was really excited during the recording of it. I'm hoping that I'll make Egypt proud with this song!"

 Russian Confirmation The russian HoD can announce that after a edition of ending in the PQR doesn't make any reason to withdraw for upcoming edition. So we can announce that Russia will be present in the upcoming edition in  Austria! We are currently reaching out to artists and inviting them to come discuss a possible participation in Austria. This also means that the entrant will be selected internally. More information will follow.  |

◢ THE LAST PIECES COME TOGETHER ◣
North Vision Song Contest 24 - Late Bidding Phase
The two very last biddings have recently been
announced, this concludes the bidding phase with
six applications. Why not seven? Shortly after
publishing their application, Kapfenberg withdrew as
it became apparent that the town was not able to
modernize their venue and their infrastructure
to host an event like the North Vision Song Contest.
Aside of the Wiener Stadthalle, the Viennese population is glad
to be able to offer another venue to host the contest. This makes
Vienna the most likely contender to win the right to host the contest.
The Allianz Stadion can host up to 30.000 fans
and is the largest venue in the run. Once a roof is built on
top of it, it may function perfectly as the venue used for
the contest.
The last city to apply in the bidding phase is Innsbruck,
making it the most western city in Austria wanting to
host the upcoming contest. Its famous tourism sector
and location right next to the Alpine mountains create
a stunning view and inspire typical Austrian designs.
If expanded upon, the Tivoli Stadion can provide
shelter for up to 16.000 people but just like most
venues applying, it lacks a roof that needs to be
build before the contest.

 Spain confirms participation
It has been confirmed by TVE that Spain will take part in the upcoming edition in Vienna after the successful fifth place which the country achieved last edition. It is still uncertain how Spain will select its entry, but it will be announced later.
