 San Marino confirms participation!
San Marino RTV CONFIRMS participation in NVSC #24.
SMRTV says: "San Marino will be present in  Austria,
we does not break down and we will do our best to find the qualification!"

NORWAY WILL BE IN VIENNA!
NRK just confirmed the Norwegian participation in the North Vision Song Contest 24 which will be held in Austria for the first time,
although the country failed to qualify after 18 editions. NRK promised for more information coming next week.

 SWEDEN CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION!SVT has just confirmed  Sweden's ongoing participation in the North Vision Song Contest. FANTASIFESTIVALEN  To determine the entrant for the 24th edition, Fantasifestivalen will once again be held. The format of the competition is still unknown. The Head of Delegation, Jan Björkman, said: " Due to our recent success in the contest and the high viewing figures in the 23rd edition, held in Stockholm, a Swedish withdrawal is completely ruled out. We are currently in the preparations for the next edition of Fantasifestivalen to choose our next entrant. Due to the short amount of time left, the format of the selection is yet to be decided though." |

Georgian Public Broadcaster has confirmed that they will be participating in the North Vision Song Contest 24 and will therefore send Georgian representative to  Vienna!
It's not a surprise Georgia keeps participating in the contest. After returning to the competition in #23 the country made their way to the final and tied their best result ever by placing 12th. The Caucasus nation was represented by Cira Kobiashvili and the song “ Hun Bun”.  Cira gave a short interview to the Georgian Journal after her latest concert in Turkey.  Things went crazy after I've returned to Tbilisi. The possibility of representing Georgia in the North Vision Song Contest gave me a lot of experience to develop my singing skills. As you can see I launched a concert tour all over Europe. It's a great opportunity for me to explore other countries and cultures.
I really hope that my homeland will stay succesfull and for the second time in the history we'll qualify to the final for the second time in a row. Kisses to all my supporters! 
In the previous edition the broadcaster decided to opt for an internal selection due to financial difficulties.
However, this time our entry will be chosen via national selection!
6 acts have already been chosen by an expert panel. We won’t hear them until the special press conference takes place in the GPB headquarters where the official lineup will be revealed.

 Poland confirms participation in NVSC #24 !Despite another non qualification Poland will participate in next edition.
The method of choosing a song is still not known and we can't promise next edition of Polish Top Of The Top. In a few days we'll make a decision.

RTVSLO CONFIRMS THE SLOVENIAN PARTICIPATION
Despite Slovenia ending up in the Pre-Qualification Round for the first time, RTVSLO has shown no loss of interest for the country's future participation.
The broadcaster has revealed that the entry will be selected internally, whether the PQR happens or not.

  Andorra will take part in the 24th edition of the North Vision Song Contest! RTVA has finally decided that the microstate will be present in the following edition of the contest. However, it's still unknown whether the entry will be chosen by an internal or a national selection.

 Luxembourg to internally select its entry!
Two months ago, RTL confirmed that Luxembourg would select its entry via national selection. Due to lack of financial allocation from the government, the broadcaster decided to suspend the selection.
However, an agreement is likely to take place for future editions.
In the press conference, RTL announced that Luxembourg would nonetheless participate and internally select its competing entry.
With a sharpened selection, a number of hints will be revealed to
precede the joint-production show taking place in January 2018.
