All entries, regardless of whether they are selected internally or through a national selection, must be sent to the council for approval. You need 4 yeses in order for your entry to be fully approved.
You are only able to confirm your country's participation and reveal your artist/band at the moment. You can only make your entry public after the results of the ongoing 11th edition. National selections are allowed to take place as soon as they are approved, as long as the results are revealed after the 11th edition has finished.
If you don't have a country yet, please sign up on the List of Interest where you can have the opportunity to apply for a country in the future!

  Lanovina Télévision and Radio confirms the participation of Lanovina at the 12th edition of the Fantasia Contest!
After non-qualifying for the first time since the 2nd Edition, LTR is opting for the Lanovision Song Festival once again to select the Lanovian entry. This time the size of the NS will be halved, therefore only 6 songs & artists will take part in the festival. The broadcaster hopes for the line-up to be stronger than previously. |

Alkyria confirms!
Akureyri, Republic of Alkyria.
HGP, yet again, confirmed for a new edition of Fantasia Contest, despite the poor results achieved in the last editions. However, there's a plot twist we have in there.
Alkyria's act will most likely be announced through a national selection, for the first time in the history of the nation. As much as the spoilers can go, the national selection will include acts from the country itself and from the Alkyrians living outside their native country, which will be put in a grand final of 10 songs.
The national selection idea was implemented due to revolts in front of the broadcaster's main buildings, the people claiming that the HGP, quoting: "never used an actual act in its native language, despite the fact that Alkyria is culturally, economically and physically able to pull it off through a national selection". |

Dýria confirms participation!
DRTV, the Dýrian broadcaster, has confirmed that Dýria will be present in the next edition, thus marking their 12th appearance at the contest.
After recent results in the competition, there was no doubt about Dýrian participation, as the contest remains one of the most watched shows on DRTV, with viewing figures reaching new highs since the 9th edition. The HoD, Dýri Brjánsson, confirmed the news this morning:
There is no reason to withdraw from this magnificent and prestigious event in the near future and I can assure that!
After being in the final every edition since the 7th edition, Dýria is not going anywhere. I am confident that Greta Isaac can make us proud in Fordia, regardless of the result. As for our selection process, nothing has been confirmed yet. Although, do keep a close eye on DRTV on social media, because there will be an exciting announcement soon... but what is it about? In a few hours, you will know...
The HoD didn't mention anything else surrounding the method of selection. A few hours later, DRTV 3, which is the Irsan language channel on the broadcaster, posted on their Rawr page;
Táimid an-sásta an nuacht seo a thabhairt amach: Den chéad uair sa chomórtas, piocfaidh Diría amhrán as Gaeilge! Beidh níos mó eolais ar fáil daoibh ar ball beag... #DÝR
"We're very happy to announce this news: That for the first time in the contest, Dýria will choose a song in Irsan! There will be more information available to you soon.."
The HoD later confirmed the news this evening that the next Dýrian song will be in Irsan.
Céamon Ó Leathlobair, who works on DRTV 3 (the channel that DRTV will be collaborating with) and is also a member of the Dýrian delegation, stated that the broadcaster is currently in the process of organizing a small national selection, although he did announce that nothing is certain just yet. Although what is certain, is that the next Dýrian entry regardless, will be in the Irsan language.

 Lakadamia will be in for FC #12.The Television Radio of Lakadamia is confirming the participation of Lakadamia for the 12th
Fantasia Contest, after the satisfying results around the Lakadamian entry in FC #11. It is now for sure that Lakadamia will select the entry by a National Selection, yet the format is expected to change, it is unknown if the Lakadamia Music Festival will remain for the 12th Edition, as of now. An announcement concerning the method of selection will come in due time, most likely after the end of the 11th edition. |
