Prunia withdraws.

As decided by Prunia TV,

Prunia will not participate in the upcoming 12th Fantasia Contest to be held in

Demacia.

The broadcaster points out the lack of Prunian public interest in the event as the sole reason for this decision to withdraw from the competition.
Indeed, the last edition of the contest did not generate much craze from television viewers. The final results of the 11th edition even hit an all-time low in the country. The poor results over the past editions weren't helpful to attract new viewers, while the early fans probably got gradually weary.
Hence, the poor viewing figures led to the decision to be further focused for instance on sports programs, as well as on some national and local TV programs, for now.

Despite this, a spokesman for Prunian Television told that the Prunian delegation will surely use this time away as an opportunity to work on a new project for Prunia in case of a return to competition at the 13th edition.

Glaray confirms participation; Project Platinum returns

A statement released earlier today by the country's broadcaster, TVG, confirmed

Glaray's presence in the twelfth edition of the contest. Heads of Delegation Aaron Castagnoli and Melina Shkurta have confirmed that the country's national selection, Project Platinum, will return to select the song, with the artist being internally selected. The selection, which has previously been used in the third and tenth editions, has brought some of the country's best results and the format hopes to achieve the goal of returning to the final.

Cynthia Nabozny, better known as Cyn (pronounced as 'sin'), is a

Glaraian singer-songwriter hailing from Rispere. Currently signed to former FC participant

Katy Perry's record label Unsub Records, she was personally recommended to the broadcaster by Perry as an entrant due to her desire to return to the contest in a less visible role, as well as her belief that Cyn's music could appeal to the masses. Despite being a new name in the music industry, Cyn's popularity in her native country has skyrocketed, where she currently has two top ten singles to her name.

Project Platinum will begin in due course, where the songs will be revealed.
