LET'S EAT GRANDMA
Let's Eat Grandma is an Everish musical group formed in 2013 by Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth. Walton and Hollingworth were both raised in Harworth, a town in West Evergreen. They originally met in reception class when they were four, and began making music together in their free time at 13. Their first songs were titled "The Angry Chicken" and "Get That Leg Off the Banister". They became members of the local Harworth music scene, before they caught the attention of the musician Kiran Leonard, who passed their work onto their future manager.
They released their debut album, I, Gemini, in 2016. I, Gemini is composed of songs that were mostly written when the two were younger. Their second studio album I'm All Ears is planned for release on 29 June 2018.

"HOT PINK"
"Hot Pink" is a single off Let's Eat Grandma's second studio album, I'm All Ears. It was written by Walton and Hollingworth and produced by SOPHIE and Faris Badwan.
"Hot Pink" is a different take on Let's Eat Grandma's music, whilst their first album was thematically similar, it consisted of folklore and mythology twisted into eerie ballads. "Hot Pink" is a fresh, more polished, pop sound for Let's Eat Grandma. The song's message is one of female empowerment and challenging gender norms.

the Westmontian country is confirmed to return to the competition for the upcoming edition!
The method of selection will once again be internal,
as the delegation expressed it wants to be in total control over the chosen entry for Demacia.
There were no clues given on the nature of entry or artist,
the delegation encourages every one to look forward to the song, though!

De Vremdspongeln confirms its participation in the upcoming Fantasia Contest!
After Natalia Mogilevskaya's disappointing 11th place in the semi-final and the second consecutive elimination in the early round, the Head of Delegation and the Vremd team at the broadcaster held a long meeting in order to find a solution which brings the country back to the Final.
Laura Trocknens, the Head of Delegation stated that the current method "lacks the special boost to stand out" and therefore "it will undergo some changes". At the end of the meeting, a special press conference was made in order to present the broadcaster's plans to the Vremd press and media.
The decision was made, and it's now official that the country will keep the National Final. However, the artist is internally selected and sent to the council. The new format will be announced as soon as possible and preparations for the Final will take place.
It is expected that the broadcaster will ask some of the biggest names in the music industry to write songs for this interally selected artist and the selected songs will fight for the right to represent the country at one special night.
We hope the renewed national selection will live up to the expectations of the Vremd fans and the broadcaster itself. |
