GREECE RETURNS TO THE COMPETITION
It was revealed today, officialy now, by ERT that the country will be returning back to the competition, after deciding to take an one-edition break. This being it, the broadcaster with the new Head of Delegation, revealed that the country is back to the competition!
METHOD OF SELECTION As ERT revealed that the country would be returning to the competition, they also revealed that we are very excited to announce that, this one edition break helped us do our best research and now we have a great song on hold, with which the broadcaster said "is capable of bringing the contest for the first time to the country". As the artist and the broadcaster are in talks for many months, we still wait the final decision, with this being it, we are going once again for an internal selection!

The United Kingdom is back after internal changes!
London, England
The BBC confirmed this morning that the United Kingdom would be returning to the North Vision Song Contest in the 26th edition after some internal changes regarding the participation of the country in the contest.
The main change has been the change of the staff. Alessandro de Macedo has been elected as the new Head of Delegation. The previous Head of Delegation, Robert Heslop, along with Ashley Muscat will both work as co-Heads of Delegation.
To celebrate the return of the United Kingdom, the BBC has decided to make a national selection consisting of 24 songs. It is estimated to start after the current edition is over.

The United Kingdom debuted in the North Vision Song Contest in the first edition. It has participated a total of 24 times, only missing the current one. It has failed to qualified for only five editions, making it one of the most successful countries to date in the contest.
Its best result so far has been in the sixth edition. Chlöe Howl, with her song "Rumour" got the first victory for the United Kingdom with a total of 175 points. |

 RTL confirms Luxembourg's participation!
Earlier today, RTL held a summit regarding the future of Luxembourger television. One of the topics was the North Vision Song Contest, which had increased ratings in the country ever since its comeback in the 23rd edition. The broadcaster confirmed that Luxembourg would continue to participate. The country's method will be revealed following the 25th edition's results. |

Yet, the delegation just confirmed that  Lebanon will be present for the next edition, wherever the contest will be held, even in  Israel... okay this is not sure about the last information. I hate you!  But well I'm not going to win at all anyway (maybe if we're turning the scoreboard upside down) so that's not a problem.  |

 There are currently no news coming from the country. It appears the politics are getting involved in politics free platforms as well. The current decision of the Soros-package and the unusual need to build football stadions may have caused a problem as the entrance fee was sent by the broadcaster but the government is raising money for more stadions so the participation is in question. |

I will go out on a limb and assume my first post didn't count ![]()  Armenia confirms participation in the 26th Northvision Song Contest
On July 3rd 2018, Armenia announced that they would return to Northvision Song Contest after the rights were sold to a new broadcaster, Armenia TV (not to be confused with the previous broadcaster, ARMTV). The head of delegation, Nazar Alexandryan, had this to say
"We have been trying to buy the rights to Northvision Song Contest from the state-owned broadcaster since early 2015, as we saw potential in having Armenia's selection process under the control of a private broadcaster. Now that ARMTV has finally sold them to us, no time has been spared. The producers at Armenia TV have already put hours of their time into researching potential artists and songs."
On the same day, armeniatv.am/northvision/ posted details about the upcoming national selection
"Our plan is to hold a televised selection with 10 songs. All broadcasters will be welcome to vote, including non-participants and associates. Jurors will give  -  to their top 5 entries. The winner with the most points will advance to the semi-finals, and from there hopefully pass to the final. The folks back at ARMTV believe we have the potential to gain Armenia their first victory, but we won't flatter ourselves just yet
Auditions will be held in our headquarters on July 7th+21st and August 4th+18th. If you would like to apply, click the link below and fill out an application."

After three years and two Co-HoD rejections, I am going to join Northvision Song Contest. 
I started following the contest in #18 and I have since been blown away by the song quality. You all put so much dedication into this.
Thank you, Aless, for doing such a great job with Armenia over the years, and best of luck with the UK. I am going to have such a hard act to follow, what with you leaving at 5th on the NVSC rankings.

Germany confirms participation
Hamburg, Germany - NDR can confirm that Germany will be present at the upcoming North Vision Song Contest. Following the non-qualification in the 24th edition, the delegation is delighted to be back at the grand final. NDR is bringing back its previous national selection method. The selection will put emphasis on both established German acts as well as rising newcomers.
Unser Song für den NVSC 26Germany's upcoming entry - in cooperation with OGAN Germany - will be chosen through 'Unser Song für den NVSC 26'. While the selections' name has been used before, the competition is now making its comeback.
Further information regarding the selection process will be revealed very soon.

Lebanon was not a qualifier for the Final of the 25th edition, it was kinda uncertain if the country woud participate.
Israel... okay this is not sure about the last information.
