 Spain confirms participation
It was confirmed today by TVE that Spain will take part in the upcoming edition of North Vision Song Contest despite this edition's failure and an eventual participation in the Pre-Qualification Round next edition. The entry will be selected through an internal selection, and the Head of Delegation has also stated that the delegation is currently in talks with potential singers and song writers.

Possible  Hungarian artist & song leak? Some fans started to speculate who will be the internally selected artist. After previous double participant. Andi Tóth posted this:  On her Instagram. Many fans started to think she is back again, judging the hashtags. #thebitchisback The broadcaster is still silent about this possible leak. |

 Luxembourg to select its entry nationally!
After sticking to a dried out formula for three editions, RTL has finally decided to call it quits. Due to the broadcaster's limited budget, the selection will completely take place online, and will feature 2-4 songs. The songs will come from a selection committee, as well as head of entertainment at RTL.

France Télévisions confirmed  french participation in the twenty six edition of the North Vision Song Contest. Dmitry Leroy, the HoD, said that France will participate in next edition. The result of the latest edition tells us that we are on the right path. And we will do our best to improve the result. Our national selection is ready. Destination NorthVision  At the moment is known that 22 songs will take part in the selection. The format will not differ from the past: two semifinals and the Grand Final. Changes in the voting system is possible. |

 San Marino confirms participation!
San Marino RTV CONFIRMS participation in NVSC #26.
SMRTV says: "San Marino will be present in  Netherlands, we will probably continue to choose our song from the Festival dei Castelli with 6th edition!"

 Söngvakeppnin Sjónvarpsins to be held again!
RÚV has announced this morning that the national selection format, Söngvakeppnin Sjónvarpsins which has been used since the 23rd edition, will be renewed for another edition and will select the Icelandic act for the 26th edition of North Vision Song Contest to be held in The Netherlands.
The HoD, Dýri Brjánsson, announced the news this morning:
After a respectable 15th place in the previous edition in Morocco, we can confirm that we will use Söngvakeppnin Sjónvarpsins to choose our representative once again. Interest in the contest has been very high in recent editions, and after seeing Iceland reaching the top 15, and especially after seeing us get our best result since the 19th edition, we just couldn't choose internally.
When asked about the format, he added that:
No huge changes should occur in the format. It's very likely that we will keep the current system that we used for #25, however should that change we will inform you of this news."
This edition of Söngvakeppnin Sjónvarpsins will also help Iceland choose an artist for Nordisk Melodi Grand Prix, as RÚV will invite one of the losing artists to submit a song to the contest.
Song submissions are now open. The HoD (Dylan ) and Co-HoD (agni ) will ultimately finalize the list to either 10 or 12 songs, with the two choosing 5 or 6 songs each.

  Czech Republic confirms participation
Česká televize announced today in a press release that the Czech Republic will be seen in the upcoming edition of the North Vision Song Contest which will be held in the Netherlands. The next Czech entry will be selected internally due to budget cuts. Česká televize promises to inform more about our upcoming entry before September. |

  SERBIA CONFIRMS IN NORTHVISION SONG CONTEST #26After a successful 2nd place in  Casablanca, we without a doubt decided to enter contest that will be hosted in Netherlands. RTS and HoD Marko revealed that Internal Process will be used to decide our entrant. Submission will be open and anyone can suggest an artist and/or song that we should ask for participation in the next edition. Submit you wishes/suggestions here. Deadline hasn't been set yet but it is expected to be till the end of Confirmation for #26.
