 Malta will take part in the 26th edition of the North Vision Song Contest
After the head of delegation was replaced, it was announced by the new head of delegation that Malta will be participating under new management.
A statement followed saying "I hope that Malta will go in a new direction under new management that will benefit Malta and the contest and we look forward to the future". |

 Despite finishing in the bottom 5 of the semi-final last edition in Casablanca and 4 non-qualifications in a row, TVR confirms that  Romania will be present at the 26th edition of North Vision Song Contest in  the Netherlands!
The entry will most likely be selected internally!

  BELARUS CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION!
 BTRC confirms that Belarus will take part at the upcoming
North Vision Song Contest held in  The Netherlands!
It has also been confirm that a national selection will be held to
select who will represent the nation.
Which means another edition of NorthFest will be held in the
belarusian capital,  Minsk!
More information about the national selection will be
published in the following days. |

   A NEW ERA FOR SLOVAKIA Following the changes in the Slovak national broadcaster RTVS, the new Head of Delegation  Maxim Raevsky has announced the beginning of a new era within the Slovak participation in the Northvision Song Contest!
The HoD promised to improve the Slovak results in the contest and bring it one day to Bratislava (& to use more than just one font and size in all of his posts & put an end to the not funny Mista jokes).In addition, RTVS confirms that Slovakia will take part at the upcoming North Vision Song Contest held in The Netherlands!The Method of selection hasn't been decided yet.Stay tuned for more information to follow.  LITHUANIA TO KEEP PARTICIPATING! Official Confirmation Following an unusually successful edition in Morocco and a TOP10 finish for GINTA, the Lithuanian Radio and Television have confirmed their intentions to participate in the 26th edition of the contest, soon to be held in the Netherlands! Due to the success last edition, the broadcaster has opted to hold an internalselection again in order to decide the next representative of the country. Stay tuned!

ALGERIA RETURNS TO THE NORTHVISION SONG CONTEST!
After being absent for the last two editions,the EPTV group took the decision to take the country back to the contest following the wide algerian audience watching the edition held in
Casablanca.
See you all in The Netherlands!

 ► Andorra confirms participation in NVSC #26 ◄After finishing in an astonishing fifth place with REYKO,  RTVA has confirmed that the microstate will be present in the following edition!
It has also been confirmed that Made in Andorra will be back with a new format to select the best representant for Andorra. Rumours say that songs in Spanish, English, Catalan and French have been submitted and that participants from both Spain and Andorra will be on the final line up!

 DENMARK CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION! Copenhagen, Denmark • 20 August 2018 Just about a week after the results of the 25th edition, the Danish Head of Delegation confirmed that  Denmark would be competing in the upcoming 26th edition of the contest, to be held in The Netherlands. DANSK MELODI GRAND PRIX 21 Aside from their participation, the Head of Delegation also confirmed that Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 21 would take place in order to select the country's 25th entrant. Despite the fact that information regarding the selection's format haven't been revealed, it is expected that the selection will keep the same format. When the Head of Delegation was asked regarding the national selection, he said: "Everything is almost ready to be announced. The selection is expected to kick off in about a week. I can also say that we have plans to present the results in a similar way as last edition, only with different partners this time around. Stay tuned for further information!" |

 MONTENEGRO CONFIRMS!
Despite another non-qualification and a possible pre-qualification round participation for Montenegro in #26, RTCG still decided to confirm for North Vision Song Contest #26 hosted in the Netherlands.
The artist and the song will be chosen internally by the broadcaster. The submition process is currently open. |
