I actually already wanted to write this on Sunday, but was too lazy oops Israel confirms its presence in the Netherlands.
Last weekend Dennis Lloyd has finished only 25th in the Casablanca-hosted final of edition #25. That however is not a reason for the country to withdraw. In fact the next Israeli entry will be decided via a very little poll consisting of only 2 songs, which will be opened in the upcoming days (in fact I wanted to already tonight, but got lost on Youtube ). It'll be the first time since edition #23 that the country's entry is not selected internally. Also both songs are in Hebrew which marks the return to the language after 2 editions. Oh and before I forget. Both songs are by the same artist as well and that's ... Adi Bity
 She's according to her Facebook only 17 and therefore the youngest artist Israel ever sent to NVSC (to my knowledge at least). |

It was revealed today, officialy now, that the country will be revealing their entry on September 16. ERT officialy announced that the artist is confirmed to represent the nation in The Netherlands. Also it was given out that the entry will be in the English language.

 SWEDEN CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION!SVT has just confirmed  Sweden's participation for the 26th edition of the North Vision Song Contest. SELECTION METHOD  In order to find the Swedish entrant for the 26th edition, Fantasifestivalen will once again be held. The format of the competition remains the same as in previous editions. The Head of Delegation, Jan Björkman, said: " After Paul Rey has brought an unexpected amazing result for Sweden and made the country automatically qualify for the final in the next edition, there is no more doubt that Sweden will withdraw. Fantasifestivalen will be held as usual, but due to time limitations, a rushed edition is to be expected." |
