 Sirenforest Reveals Their Act for #13! Densest, Sirenforest- After the non-qualification of Fifth Dawn, which put vocalist Samantha Faul in a hospital after suffering a mental breakdown, SFTV decided on a more riskier act for #13, which also is the same approach that brought I See Stars to the contest and failed to qualify in their edition. The new CEO of Sirenforest Television stated that "Even though I See Stars failed in the fifth edition, we are willing to try the risky approach after the NQ's of Phedora and Fifth Dawn, the former getting the country's worst result. This act has tried and tried again since Sirenforest's debut and they are finally getting their shot."Anyway, the act representing Sirenforest in the  thirteenth edition of the Fantasia Contest is.... Crown The Empire!  Crown The Empire is from Tellerville originally but moved to Istacle in 2010 to start up their music career. The band originally had five members but unclean vocalist Dave Escamilla left the band in 2017. It is noted that Crown The Empire has tried to represent Sirenforest since the fourth edition but was rejected each time, but had a shot at representing the country in the sixth edition, where they were taking part in the national selection "Grand Fiesta Sirenforest", which was cancelled due to the broadcaster wanting to give fellow Istacle band The Birthday Massacre a shot but instead changed to the presumed winner, Nikki Yanofsky who brought Sirenforest their first win. Needless to say, when they were interviewed on their selection, they proceeded to cover all of Sirenforest's previous entries. Hopefully the second risky approach works. Good day from Sirenforest! |

More details on the Harish #13 method selection revealed Tonight, Harish Television (HTV) revealed that  Harish Islands will choose their Fantasia Contest entry internally for the first time since the 4th edition of the contest. The HoD Max Bronse said:  Harishian Song Festival took place as the national selection choosing our entry for Fantasia Contest for 9 editions in a row, however it only brought us 2 finals, so we're opting for an internal selection this time. Our entry was chosen by a group of professional juries from our country as well as different countries.  The HoD also said that the #13 entry is something new and very different to previous entries from Harish Islands. HTV presented a snippet of the artist on their website - a blurred photo. Who could it be?  Lidonia confirms
RTL has confirmed the presence of Lidonia at the 13th Fantasia Contest, following the qualification of Rivals for the current edition held in Demacia as well as the completion of huge internal changes in the broadcasting company that also affected the music department and the FC delegation. After the first HoD was named as new vice-chief of the entertainment section of RTL, Lidonia will go with a new HoD into the 13th edition. Jan Tvaroh, only 28, will be the new Head of delegation and lead a 5-person panel which is responsible for choosing acts and organizing National Selections.
Changes inside the broadcaster
The restructuring inside the broadcaster were taken following a plummeting of market shares and viewing rates of the main channels with the liberalization of the media market that allowed private channels to broadcast their programs since December 2017. Not only that but also low approval and believability rankings for the state-owned and therefore also state-near broadcaster cause problems for it. The latest restructuring was therefore opted to get rid of political and military influence inside the broadcaster to solve the problems from inside. Good results at the Fantasia Contest are therefore even more important for the channel nowadays as FC was and still is one of the most popular TV events in Lidonia. But also here RTL is in danger since reports suggested that two private rivals want to apply for FBU membership in the near future.
The selection method
After the success of "A Song for Rivals" last edition, both results-wise and in terms of TV ratings the delegation of Lidonia has decided to continue the selection method of selecting an artist internal and hosting a national selection to choose the song. In contrast to last edition where the delegation chose with Rivals a band that was commercially successful this time Lidonia will stay with a band but instead go for a less known, yet still critically acclaimed band.

KIDS N CATS Kids N Cats is a 4-person electronic-Pop band from the 3rd largest city Hrad Lecin. They describe themselves as loud, colorful and chaotic. This chaos in their music was also the name for their debut album, before their recent album 11 tracks covered their experiences from their one-year long tour through Fantasia. The selection "A Song for Kids N Cats" will start soon! |

 UNSER SONG #13
FOR SCANDAVIASKRF announced that Scandavia will once again attend the
Fantasia Contest. After a one edition break, the popular national selection Unser Song will return with its Duel style. This time, once again 12 entries will be presented, though for the first time in the history of the selections, there
will be two songs for each act. The 6 acts will battle themselves
in the first rounds of the selection.

Alkyria confirms!

The Alkyrian Republic has announced its confirmation for the upcoming Fantasia Contest... with a little twist. As compensation for being the loser side in the first national selection hosted by Alkyria, Kingdom vs. Republic, the kingdom is taking the charge in #13. Therefore, the flag over there you see it's technically the predecessor of what we all know as the Republic of Alkyria (or Alkyria for short).
Celebrating an entire millennium since its formation and almost 100 years since its eventual demise, Alkyria's act for the 13th edition of Fantasia Contest is going to be entirely historical related and with a lot of references regarding the fallen kingdom of Kallitia. The closest ancestors of the Alkyrian side, Kallitia stood out greatly, through music, culture, traditions & customs, and its influence is still incredibly present in the modern-day Alkyria.
Therefore, for this edition, Kallitia (points at that fancy flag over there) will be mainly in charge rather than Alkyria.
The song will be chosen in the style we're used to - internal selection - but we promise we'll bring with us an entire culture, shown from the days as independent nation to its ultimate demise. Just stay tuned. |

As Achróa's national final draws to a close, so too is the eleventh edition of the Fantasia Contest - once again, the Achróan broadcaster STA will take advantage and reveal their entry upon the closure of the show.
The winner of EDGÉ easily sailed through the first round, finishing with 18 out of 20 votes, well ahead of the second placer. In the second round, the winner faced some fierce opposition from the second placer - although towards the end it managed to strengthen its lead and finish with over 50% of the vote.So, who will represent Achróa in the thirteenth edition? Will Slowdive return for a second consecutive edition, or will either of the newcomers - Alvvays and Marissa Nadler - take the crown?

Robin Miriam Carlsson, known as Robyn, is a Ruyjinese singer, songwriter and record producer. She is responsible for releasing the worldwide Grammy-nominated hits Dancing On My Own and Call Your Girlfriend. Robyn is no stranger to the Fantasian audience. She took part in an Angosturan national selection as a feature on one of Röyksopp's participating song. The gay icon, love throughout Fantasia, will represent her home country with the lead single from her upcoming 2018 album.

When I wrote this album I think I was quite tired of myself writing sad love songs. But I did anyway and looking back on that now, I think it’s OK for things to be sad. Combining it with something that’s bright and strong and powerful is a way of finding your way out of the sadness. I am looking forward to participating
in Fantasia. I can only hope for the best. Let's go!
