TOPIC 1: Kyúnttropia Recognized!
Results via The CW broadcast of the special election regarding the nation of Kyúnttropia.
Mississauga, Eldance C.D. - Following several days of debates from the 4 major parties in Eldance it has ended tonight.
The United States of Eldance will put forth it's recognition of Kyúnttropia into the Fantasia World and tells it's fellow UN counterparts to follow suit.

We hope to see other big nations like  Fordia,  Lakadamia,  Ninelie,  Qasentria,  Scandavia to support this motion." said the Prime Minister of Eldridge.

Real Federación Eldanca de Fútbol the Eldancan football (soccer) league has also started a soccer program to help develop the the Kyúnttropian nation into a great nation that could hopefully compete against the many greats in FANA. And has proposed a friendly in the Kyúnttropian capital in the future.
"L.A.C.E.S. (Life and Change Experienced thru Sports) works with people impacted by injustices around the world by providing mentorship, fostering belonging and cultivating community through the power of sport!"
TOPIC 3: Concert for Kyúnttropia!

Stating "the song is about the rough ship the Kyúnttropians had to deal with getting denied by nations like Lakadamia, etc etc." (EBC does not agree or disagree with this message).
It has been confirmed that the Eldanca Airlines Stadium in Mississauga will set host for the concert here in Eldance.
A second concert will be held in Kyúnttropia itself whenever a venue is set from the officials.
Tickets to attend the concert were also made available (In Eldance all ticket sales will be sent straight to donation, and in Kyúnttropia it will be free for the Kyúnttropian natives). It was announced that all proceeds would go directly to the Disasters Emergency Committee's Kyúnttropia Humanitarian Appeal, while EBC confirmed that it would donate the advertising revenue from the concert, which it estimated to be around $50 million, to the appeal.

UPDATE ON  KYÚNTTROPIAN RECOGNITION
In a recent press conference, President Garcia can announces the state officially fully recognises the Lakadasian country of Kyúnttropia, which is an upgrade from the country's partial recognition of the state announced on 8th February 2023. Kyúnttropian citizens can enjoy visa-free travel Glaiola for 3 months; hence, if they were planning to stay in the country for longer, they would need to apply for a visa when they arrive at Glaiola. A small embassy has also opened in Arvá, to facilitate Kyúnttropians with this process. In addition, this recognition allows Glaiola to provide more humanitarian aid to Kyúnttropia.
GLAIOLAN SCIENTISTS DISCOVERS NEW USES OF HOLOGRAPHIC TECHNOLOGY
Recently, the Science Institution of Glaiola (SIG) has discovered a way in using holographic technology for concerts and music gigs, so people can watch live recordings of dead musicians' at venues, rather than just watching recordings on their personal devices. The scientists will begin testing this soon in small venues around Glaiola and will also be working with some of the families of dead musicians sensitively to help keep the musicians' legacies alive. They hope to reach this on a global scale, but they believe this will take time, to adjust any errors in the testing process. |

TERRITORIAL ELECTIONS IN THE LAKADAMIAN FEDERATION (part 3)
From June to November 2022, all eligible Lakadamian voters are called to go elect the 2868 territorial representatives, spanning from 40 to 212 depending of the territory. All elections are based on a certain amount of representative for each territories, divided by the regions of said territory, solely based on the population.
Since the previous update (which was done long ago due to me being lazy), 7 new territories have voted:
 Lazulie,  Swarrel,  Évelya,  Orlao,  Est,  Victorya and  Nouvelle Alkyrie.
LAZULIE
Lazulie, a territory within Central Lakadamia, bordered by Lumivie to the west, Dèlmivdie to the north, Appleplains and Swarrel to the east, and the Lakadasian Ocean to the south, is considered to be one of the territories that usually votes for whichever party that are currently governing the Federation, Since 2016, the territory has been governed by a coalition between the Socialists, the Greens and the Liberals, all 3 parties having 106 out of the 122 seats of Lazulie, the rest of the seat being taken by the Republicans and Force de Gauche.
The results of the elections, that were held on the 11 September 2022:
The results shows no surprise to the current coalition, has, despite losing 7 seats overall, both Socialists and Liberals remains at high, even almost getting the same amount of voters, percentage and seat, a rarely seen event in Lakadamian elections. The Greens set at the third place, reaching their highest score ever, while the Republicans falls to their lowest ever, with 2 seats and less than 30.000 voters. Alternative Lakadamie does its entrance in the Parlement de Lazulie with 11 seats, almost all taken from the Republicans, while the Force de Gauche expended from their 4 seats acquired in 2019 to 10.
SWARREL
Swarrel, the largest territory, but one of the least populated of Lakadamia, is also located at the Center of the federation, surrounded by Dèlmivdie, Lazulie, Appleplains, Iciya and the newly formed federal city of Argenta. Geographically, it is called the "Bubble territory (Le territoire Bulle)" due to it's unique form, formed between the very rural area of the territory, and the coastline, with the most population. Politically, it is part of the Liberal boomerang of Lakadamia, as it is one of the few territories that usually gives a majority of their seats to the Parti Libéral, as the party has been governing the territory, either alone or part of a coalition, since 2001. At the left side of the political spectrum, Les Verts have always been the left-wing party that have been doing the best in the territory, while it is also one of the few territories where the Agrarian/Salparétri interest party Moko Lakadamiya have been constantly doing well, usually siding with the opposition.
The results of the elections, that were held on the 18 September 2022:
As expected, the Parti Libéral managed to win the most seats and votes, however losing 12 seats, which allowed them to govern on their own, these seats were mostly redistributed between the opposition parties, as Les Verts and Moko Lakadamiya both gained 2 and 3 seats. The three parties will be joining into a coalition government, composed of 43 seats, marking the very first time Moko Lakadamiya enters a territorial government since it's creation in 2004. The rest of the seats are distributed evenly to the opposition, with both left and right-wing getting 11 seats each, while the Feminist party Elles! manage to receive 1 seat.
ÉVELYA
Évelya, one of the easternmost territory of mainland Lakadamia, is surrounded by the territories of Moshie, Nouvelle Alkyrie, Orlao and Victorya. Politically, it is an anomaly within the Federation, as since 2019, the right-wing Republican party has decided to side with far-right party Alternative Lakadamie, which created a huge backlash, and has been since that day, making the Parti Républicain doing their absolute worst in every elections so far. The Evelyan elections are set to be the most anticipated of 2022 in Lakadamia due to the possibility of having a far-right party governing a territory of Lakadamia, for the very first time. To avoid this eventuality, mulitiple parties have decided to withdraw from the elections, and making sure Alternative Lakadamia do not end up with a majority.
The results of the elections, that were held on the 25 September 2022:
As expected, Alternative Lakadamie managed to gather enough seat to be topping the results of these elections, with 29 Seats and 30% of the total votes. In second place, and set to be the largest opposition party is the Parti Socialiste, with 20 seats (despite being predicted to only get 5 seats). A second far-right party, Lakadamie D'abord managed to win 15 seats, and have already confirmed they would not side with Alternative Lakadamie to form a coalition government. The Republicans managed to receive 13 seats, and Les Verts and Liberals gets the last available seats.
However, since the elections happened, all of the opposition (minus LDA) managed to get themselves into what's called an "Coalition Contre-Nature", used when a left and right wing party enters a coalition, together, and all 4 parties managed to get their candidate elected, with 38 votes for, 29 votes against, and 15 abstention.
ORLAO
Orlao, is a territory located to the east of Lakadamia, between Victorya and Evelya, however, it is one of the richest territory of Lakadamia, and it is also part of the previous mentioned Liberal boomerang of Lakadamia, the Liberal Party having been governing this territory since 1965.
The results of the elections, that were held on the 2 October 2022:
Unsurprising results have happened in the territory of Orlao, as the Liberal party managed to win 44 seats, a +2 from 2019. The two left-wing parties the Greens and the Socialists, despite both parties losing one seat, remains as a strong opposition for the territory. The feminist party Elles! managed to gain 4 seats, mostly taken from the right-wing party Les Républicains.
EST
The Eastern territory, located in the west of Lakadamia, next to the Northern Territory, the Western Territory, the Central Territory and Dèlmivdie, is politically, usually one of the territories that votes for a left-wing party, however, for decades now, the Liberal Party usually manages to gather enough seat to form the opposition.
The results of the elections, that were held on the 2 October 2022:
The Socialist party managed to win 18 seats out of 66, a -4 from 2019, but however managed to conclude a government coalition between Les Verts and the Liberals, making 43 seats for the government coalition. It is one of the few elections where the right-wing the Republicans did not suffered a major loss, as they only lost 1 seat, and 11 seats in total. Feminist party Elles! and far-right party Alternative Lakadamie are making their entrance into the Parlement de l'Est.
VICTORYA
The first of the two autonomous territories that have their results reported in this post is Victorya, located in the East, surrounded by Appleplains, Iciya, Evelya and Orlao, it is, just like Swarrel and Orlao, part of the Liberal boomerang of Lakadamia, where the Liberal party usually wins the elections.
The results of the elections, that were held on the 9 October 2022:
The results shows that the Liberal party managed to win (surprise!) 41 seats, with no gain or loss recorded. They are followed by their partner the Victoryan Democrats, a social-democracy party, created a few months ago. Both parties will form a coalition with 75 seats in the parliament. Forming the main party of opposition is the Green party Les Verts, with 23 seats. The Socialists are behind with 22 seats, and the right-wing gathered 24 seats overall, with 19 seats won by the Victoryan Republicans, and 5 by Victorya First!, a far-right party.
NOUVELLE ALKYRIE
Nouvelle Alkyrie is the easternmost territory of Lakadamia. Located north of Evelya, is home to 4 Millions of Lakadamians, is one of the few territories that have the Green party as the main party in their government, usually allied with the Socialist party, their long-term allies in Lakadamia, but also in this territory.
The results of the elections, that were held on the 29 October 2022:
As expected, Les Verts managed to win 56 seats, a rise of 5 seats from 2019, they were followed by the Socialist party, that managed to win 35 seats, as both parties will continue their coalition in Nouvelle Alkyrie. Force de Gauche managed to win third place and 22 seats overall, thus confirming the strenght of the left-wing parties in Nouvelle Alkyrie. Feminist party Elles! managed to win 20 seats, mostly due to the territory being a stronghold of the party, with their leadern Arabelle Faniesto, leader of the feminist party and elected in the parliament. For the rest of the results, it was the very first election for both Parti Démocrate and Parti Animaliste, and they managed to win 8 seats each.

 INTERNAL CONFLICTS AMONG LOCAL BROADCASTERS - IS THIS HGP'S FINAL NAIL IN THE COFFIN?
(a hidden scandal outside of the people and the world's eyes may finish with a collapse)

Unknown to the public eye, nor to the Fantasian world, in the past 2 years there's been a nation-wide investigation upon one of the main broadcasters in Alkyria that was kept secret up to this morning. To sum things up a little bit, HGP, the 4th most viewed broadcaster nation-wide and the 2nd richest in terms of financial gains, has come under fire after several allegations of embezzlement and corruption came to light in September of 2021. As most of you may probably know, HGP is the main broadcaster that has aired and coordinated Alkyria's journey and selections in the Fantasia Contest and its spin-offs, as well as airing the well known TV show RuPaul's Drag Race, among others.
A total of 30 broadcasters, large or small, that have been active in the industry have made several petitions sent to the Alkyrian government and the law enforcements in order to investigate the issues, with HGP ending up being accused of 20 counts of embezzlement, fraud and breaking the work ethic.
"Today, on the 2nd of August 2023, Hellex Group Production had been found guilty of all allegations following a few long years of battling in the courts. We couldn't have asked for a better result following said statements coming from multiple broadcasters in Alkyria, and which had been gone further than it should've been. After these results and HGP having to pay everything they've taken to those affected, it's highly likely that the broadcaster will dissolve by the next month."- mentioned Styar Atabekov, the lawyer that has represented the said broadcasters.
A local reporter asked upon the fate of Alkyria in the worldwide events and what's going to happen with the high possibility of HGP collapsing.
"According to said broadcasters, they will send representatives in order to discuss about this situation and see what can be done in this regard. We know that our country has been actively involved in several events and competitions throughout the years with great results, but we cannot give you a specific answer upon what's going to happen untill the meeting is finalized." - continued Atabekov.
The meeting among the 30 broadcasters will be at Egline around this following week, in hopes of finding a solution upon Alkyria's fate in terms of broadcasting on the global market, as well as the new direction Alkyria will take. |

On the 7th April of 2023 new passport layout design was chosen during a meeting of Parliemë y Søher. The new passport is designed to enhance security, streamline processes and reflect the rich cultural heritage of our nation. Starting from 6th August of 2023, all new passport applications will automatically receive the updated layout.

Egline, Republic of Alkyria Two weeks ago, the trial between HGP and the Alkyrian broadcasters came to an end, leaving the fate of whatever HGP was currently airing into the hands of the 30 broadcasters. Big or small, with larger or smaller influence, they've gathered several representatives to the first gathering in Egline. Egline, as many Fantasia Contest fans have probably guessed - hosted the sixteenth edition and has been one of the fastest developing cities in the republic, hosting about a third of the broadcasters headquarters.
Therefore, the conjoined broadcasters have settled on which part everyone will take, with further announcements to be set once HGP will officially dissolve by the end of the month, with the larger stake being shared by three of them - those being ABE, ALKYD and AOA.
ABE (Alkyrian Broadcasting Entertainment, often being abbreviated as ABO in Proto-Kallitian) is the third highest rated and third in terms of financial stability and revenue, funded officially in 2017. It often airs local reality shows and talent shows, gaining the rights to air them back in 2019, including reality shows abroad. It's one of the few Alkyrian broadcasters that are independent and rely on private funds and revenue gained from said aired shows, as well as collaborations with smaller broadcasters abroad. So, in terms of entertainment purposes, HGP will be replaced with this broadcaster - which will air RuPaul's Drag Race and its spinoffs, besides other local content.
ALKYD (pk: Alk'airie Denudiy, Alkyrian Sports & Biodiversity Programme) is a smaller broadcaster that started around 2015, strongly affiliated with IPESF, often airing documentaries, measures of prevention regarding ecodiversity and biodiversity across the republic and abroad. Since November of 2017 however, ALKYD and HGP partnered up in order to fund and support the Alkyrian sports teams during Fantasia Games, hence giving it the rights to air and help fund financially the athletes. With HGP dissolving soon, ALKYD will be fully airing the sport events both locally and during competitions abroad.
AOA (pk: Al'kairie Olvarki Astuntov, Alkyria Radio Television) is the biggest currently active broadcaster in the republic, being first in terms of ratings and financial stability, broadcasting both locally and globally. It's been airing since 2015 as an independent broadcaster that was in close ties with several smaller ones across south-western Alkyria and grew massive with the acquiring of the Media and Communication Department of HGP in the early 2018. While it was the largest broadcaster currently airing, AOA often relied on local shows and news outlets, managing to score several big hits throughout the years and expanding its area to the point today, including airing Fantasia Contest and its subcontests.
AOA officially gained the FBA approval in August of 2023 after a few months of pending, in the mist of the internal fiasco HGP was handling. The director of the broadcaster announced this evening that from now on AOA will be the main broadcaster for Alkyria in Fantasia Contest, expecting to begin their activity by the next edition, with the members of the delegation to be slightly changed.
"It's definitely a new era for Alkyria both nationwide and on the global market, but with the help and support of the other broadcasters around us, we hope that this era will be beneficial. Especially as two time hosts of Fantasia Contest, we hope that the new approach we take should result in the proper comeback of the republic and a new way to showcase the current music industry more efficiently. We are aware of the issues that the former broadcaster has left us with, but we hope we can find a solution to bring it back to its former glory. For now, we're just excited for the new chapter and hope that we're not bringing down Alkyria in this regard." mentioned the new HoD, Nayumi Axmis.
The rest of the smaller broadcasters will be focusing on promoting the country and showcasing several branches such as culture & traditions, history, geography, economy, as well as languages and platforms for musicians to promote themselves in. |

NEW LANGUAGES RECOGNISED
In a recent conference, the Glaiolan Government officialises three recognised languages spoken in nation.
• Kasonga (IRL: Tsonga). This language is spoken among the areas bordering  Ka'a and Kehbe. The language was also featured on Glaiola's entry for the 30th edition of Fantasia Contest, being "Sekeleka". The language originally had partial recognition, but has since been upgraded to a fully recognised regional language.
• Novementese (Nineliese) (IRL: Italian). This language has now been recently recognised as a national language, due to a large influx of Nineliese migrants entering the country. Glaiola has changed the language name for their country, as the migrants found it best fit for their identity, where the Glaiolan recognised name for the language, Novementese, is based on the Nineliese translation for "Nine lie", which is "Nove mentono".
• Aralajaran/Aralajaran Creole/Akriolu (IRL: Cape Verdean Creole/Kriolu). This language has been recently revived by Glaiolan citizens with descent to the former Aralajara Islands, which were islands below the Glaiolan coast but ended up disappearing due to a catastrophic tsunami. The language was revived as a result of historical artefacts and texts from the former islands being studied.
