Austrian Entry:1:51+After quite some time Austria will send a female solo singer again, it's Petra Frey. Some Eurovision fans here might remember her as she took part there for Austria in the 1990s. She's quite an established Schlager singer, so i'm not sure why i never really thought of sending her.
Some weeks ago someone suggested her and shared quite some songs of hers on Togethertube, unfortunately I don't remember who it was anymore So in case the specific player reads this, thanks for the suggestion

Following our "successful" result in the last edition we can only go up - and I mean north! Here's Latvia's next entry called "Northern Girl" from late 80's. I hope you'll like this better than my last entry Jumprava - "Ziemeļmeita" (1:20 onwards, please) PIC:

Time for another Slovenian bop This one is from 2005. I feel like all of his songs are hits in Slovenia, and even if I don't generally listen to him, I still enjoy some of his songs Jan Plestenjak & Eva (Moškon) - Iz pekla do raja (From Hell To Heaven) Hope you like it

Üzeyir Hacıbəyov - Cəngi 00:04 - 00:28
Information about the composer: Üzeyir Hacıbəyov, known as the founding father of Azerbaijani classical and opera music, is arguably the most prominent Azerbaijani composer of all times. In Azerbaijan, we celebrate "National Music Day" on the 18th of September, on his birthday, every year. Üzeyir Hacıbəyov composed the music of the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the first opera ("Leyli and Majnun") in the entire Muslim East region. Information about the song: Cəngi is a folk composition and a national military dance, taking its roots from Oghuz/South-Western Turkic culture. Oghuz Turks, among others, include Turkish, Azerbaijani and Turkmen Turks, hence, you can hear the composition quite often in other Turkic countries, as well. Cəngi used to represent knighthood, heroism, and a call for wars and was employed in especially, military competitions and ceremonies, wrestling matches, or conflicts between oghuz tribes. It was composed by Üzeyir Hacıbəyov in the XX century again and was included in his "Koroğlu" opera, which reflects on the history of Turkic nations. Picture:
