LITHUANIA TO BE PRESENT!

Following an update from the entry production team, it's been confirmed by LRT today that

Lithuania will bepresent at the North Vision Song Contest #27, to be held in

Odessa.

The broadcaster has revealed that a revamped format of Northvizijos will once again choose the

Lithuanian hopeful.

Five acts will be fighting for the golden ticket including one returnee from the first decade of the competition.

SWEDEN CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION!

SVT has just confirmed

Sweden's participation for the 27th edition of the North Vision Song Contest.

SELECTION METHOD

The current selection method is still unknown. A normal edition of Fantasifestivalen is very unlikely to be held.

The Head of Delegation,

Jan Björkman, said:
"We are amazed, impressed and beyond grateful by Normandie's second place! These talented guys truly deserved it.
The contest remains to be one of the most popular music shows in Sweden and seeing as we are automatically qualified for the final once again, there is no doubt for a participation. Due to organisation issues, a normal edition of our selection Fantasifestivalen is unlikely to be held though. More information will be revealed at a later stage."

FLTV has just confirmed Liechtenstein's participation on the 27th edition of North Vision Song Contest #27 that will be held in Ukraine.
This confirmation of participation comes alongside with the new Head of Delegation, Apostolis Königstädt after Bronson Kölbel's sudden departure.

The Head of Delegation, Apostolis, also said:
"We are truly satisfied by The Gardener & The Tree's qualification and we are so glad to see Liechtenstein back on the final after such a long time. However, we want to keep that streak alive so we already opened the submissions for our next entrant on our official site 1fl.li/nvsc! If you think that you have what it takes, fill it up now!"

Spain confirms participation

It was confirmed today by TVE that Spain will take part in the upcoming edition of North Vision Song Contest after achieving a successful 5th place in the previous edition.
It is uncertain how Spain will select its entry.

TNV withdraws from the upcoming NorthVision Song Contest!
The director general of TNV just announced in the morning news, that TNV will not participate at the upcoming edition of the NorthVision Song Contest! The announcement states: „The board of directors decided that Turkey will not be present at the upcoming NorthVision Song Contest in Ukraine! We‘re so proud of what Edis and Emina have achieved and will come back in the near future. The absence at the upcoming edition will make it possible for TNV to restructure our system of selecting our entries and even come stronger in the future.“

NEWS FROM UKRAINE

Today, the

Ukrainian broadcaster and the delegation around Anton Gomerovich confirmed that

Ukraine will of course be present in the upcoming edition held in our country.

Riya brought us an overwhelming victory in Rotterdam by receiving 392 points from juries and televoters all over Europe. This marks the second victory for us to date, the first being way back in the 10th edition with "Zerkala" by Ani Lorak and Grigory Leps.

The preparations for the next edition held in the sunny

Odessa are already in full swing.
Anton Gomerovich: "We are so happy to be the host for this contest for a second time, the first time under my rule. The expectations are high, the contest gets more professional each edition. Of course, we try to get along with this trend and we hope that the upcoming contest will be a highlight for everyone, like the previous editions."

It was also confirmed that PNV has been again chosen to be the selection method for our next entry. More information is yet to be revealed, hopefully in the next few days. All we can already tell is that 10 songs will fight to be the host's song, 5 being chosen by the HoD and 5 by the Co-HoD.

BTRC can announce that

Kristina Bazan
will represent

Belarus in the upcoming Pre Qualification Round for
the 27th edition of North Vision Song Contest in

Odessa.

Kristina Bazan was born in

Minsk, Belarus 28 October 1993, making her
25 years old today. Then she moved to

Kentucky, USA where she grew up. Later she moved to
live in

Switzerland. Today she is running the blog Kayture.
She has also posted content on youtube and instagram. Today she has more
than 2.2 million followers on her instagram account. Modeling is also an experience
she has. Bazan has participated in the Miss Switzerland competition. As a model she is known
for working with big brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Dolce&Gabbana.
The last few years she has got into music and will now represent her birth country in Northvision.

The song Kristina will represent

Belarus with, is a song inspired by technology.
Technology is a very important part of Kristina's life and career. She points out that the
limits between reality and virtuality are bluring.
"I think our generation is so deeply influenced by social media, this instant gratification, this virtual
bubble filled with opportunities."
