Adna to represent Bosnia-Herzegovina!
Adna Kadic, known as just Adna, is a Bosnian-descended and Swedsh-born singer. She describes herself as "quite soft and melancholic". Signature to her style is represented by heavy percussive elements, acoustic, electric guitars and haunting background vocals. Her emotionally bedraggled, heavy-hearted lyricism draws some creative influences from Bosnian hymns, and her folk-influenced modern indie style has something to offer.
Adna took part twice in BH Vision #13, with "Closure", getting the 4th place and in the current edition, BH Vision #16, winning it with the song "Thoughts", the song she will perform in the North Vision Song Contest #27, the winner of BH Vision #16 with 258 points!

The song is described by Adna as a bit of lush melancholia with dreamy overtones that will certainly tug at your heart strings. The lyrics of the chorus are:
"The sadness in your eyes
With you I want to feel again
By your side
Show you there’s no one like you
Show you there's no one but you
Show you how it's only you."
Some other elements of the song are the deftly layered piano, the ringing guitar and the heavy-hitting drums, which all come together for an evocative, cinematic feel.
Here’s what Adna had to say about the song:
 "I wrote this when I was 16 as some kind of declaration of love to the place where I have my roots [ Bosnia-Herzegovina]. Despite all the sorrow and the melancholy, it’s the most beautiful place I know about. And I wanted to make this song again, because it feels important to also see and think of the beauty in the things that otherwise are shown as something sorrowfully."
