GIKA
Ioanna Gika is a Greek American musician, composer, and artist. Most recently, Gika’s lyrics were quoted by Booker Prize winner Arundhati Roy in her NY Times best selling book The Ministry Of Utmost Happiness. Gika played in Io Echo which toured throughout the United States and had support slots for Nine Inch Nails, Haim, New Order, and Jon Hopkins amongst others. Ioanna Gika was born in Washington DC from Greek parents, and then she also spent some of her early years in Greece. After many years she returned to her mother's house back in Greece, during her father's funeral, where she started writing her first and newly revealed album "Thalassa" ("Sea" in greek), which she also said speaks about the country, but her too. The song Ioanna Gika will be singing will be revealed late April.  NorthYergy #03 Recap Revealed
ArmeniaTV is proud to present the 10 finalists hoping to represent Armenia in NorthVision Song Contest. The winner will be decided by a televote-only poll based system, with audience members having the ability to vote for up to 4 songs.
The voting will not be opened until Saturday evening in case one of the entries is Article 13'd and needs to be replaced. The Armenian delegation sees it to be very important that their entrant does the best that they possibly can and isn't held back by silly copyright laws
All delegations will be tagged when the voting opens

Slovakia to surprise the Swiss stage with an alt-instrumental number!
A brand new artist to the NVSC stage for Slovakia! Katarzia will represent her homeland Slovakia for the first time ever!
Following Slovakia's unsuccessful result in the 27th edition, RTVS surprises with a totally different style. Katarína Kubošiová (=Katarzia) was chosen by RTVS to represent Slovakia in the 28th edition of NVSC with her song: "Bábiky Sa Vraždia (=Dolls Are Killing)"!

 IT'S ZALA KRALJ & GAŠPER ŠANTL FOR SLOVENIA! After a long wait, RTVSLO can finally unveil that the Slovenian duo, Zala & Gašper, will represent Slovenia in the 28th Northvision Song Contest.
Zala Kralj & Gašper Šantl is a musical duo, hailing from Maribor, Slovenia, consisting of vocalist, Zala, and multi-instrumentalist, Gašper.
Gašper has been working with music for a couple of years, collaborating with different singers for each single.
It wasn't until he worked with Zala Kralj with "Valovi", before Gašper felt a connection, and since 2018, they've been working as a duo.
The same song also happen to win the Zlata Piščal Award for the best song of the summer.
The duo released their newest single, Sebi, in February, and since, has been doing fairly well in the Slovenia charts, peaking at 9th place.
The duo has, since their debut, released a total of four song, all of them being put in their latest EP, Štiri, which was released in mid-February of this year.
And for now, they've accepted the honorable invitation to represent their nation in the upcoming Northvision Song Contest,
and the will be performing nothing other than the track that started it all...

J'IRAI FOR BELGIUM
 VRT can officially announce the winner of the Northvision Belgium 28, the Belgian national selection for the North Vision Song Contest 28, which will be held in Switzerland.
Slõane with the song J'irai managed to win with 132 points and will therefore represent the country in the contest.
