 ►  Karla Grunewaldt to represent Andorra! ◄After a fast edition of Made in Andorra,  Karla Grunewaldt, the foreign act of the national selection, managed to win the trophy and will therefore represent the country in the 28th edition of the North Vision Song Contest!
She will sing "Desatar" (untie), a song in spanish about accepting oneself and thus getting stronger.

 Entry Teaser Revealed
At 2300, RAI posted a teaser of the twenty-seventh Italian entry for the contest on Rai.it, the broadcaster's website. Later on, it was published on YouTube.com, before quickly being taken down, before being reuploaded again in remote distortion.
Similar to the 25 teaser, the "teaser" is a rather cryptic teaser, so if you manage to figure out the entry, or know the entry from the teaser, please do NOT spoil the entry.
The entry will be revealed tomorrow, obviously. Again, please do not spoil the entry if you are aware of it. |

 GEORGIAN REPRESENTATIVE REVEALED!
Similarly to the preceding two editions, Georgian entrant was selected internally by The Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB). The lucky artist won the right to represent the Caucasian country in the musical extravaganza after it was chosen by a special committee set up by public broadcaster. The song, along with the representative's name remained a mystery till today's press conference which was held at the GPB's headquarters in Tbilisi.

SUICIDE TEA
Shota Shermadini, known professionally as Apolloe will wave the red and white flag at the North Vision Song Contest in Bern.
Shermadini is a young singer who released the first video track on Late Night Voice 2017 and describes himself as an antipop musician. In 2014 he moved from his homeland to Manchester and graduated from Leeds Law School. Apolloe will perform "Suicidea Tea" at the PostFinance Arena. The song has a dark vibe and was created to visualize chaos in human’s mind.
 I tried to come up with an universal idea for this song so everyone could relate to it. End of the day, this piece came out quite personal to me as I wrote it about my very own life experience. Despite it’s privateness I believe that the idea behind it, is universal, which I hope will touch a lot of people. Let's not forget about the slogan for the forthcoming edition - "Be human." With that song I want to picture one of the most common human afflictions. All in all, I am hopeful that this risky choice will pay off in Switzerland and another satisfactory result for Georgia can be reached.  ~ Apolloe about the song

 MY FAMOUS LAUGHTER will be sung by Little Big Sea in Bern! Originally set to be revealed on April 12th alongside the release of their studio album Stranger Places, the delegation of Austria went on to delay said release for the public entry and eventually previewed it on April 26th. But alas the next Austrian entry has been revealed! I am sick of the drama.
I'm changing my address. Little Big Sea write stories, not songs - subsequently, My Famous Laughter is an essential key to said collection of stories and can be interpreted in conclusions of a finite ending to a relationship. After taking the risky jump from the cliff in Safe With Me, after reaching the point of no return, we're now in an unsolved state of mind: where are we, how are we? Are we happy that the bond ended, or do we isolate ourselves in hope of minimising the pain caused by the other? I am spending the summer in my winter palace. We prosper in the long run after letting go of people that turned ill-minded towards us. Maybe it's good that our joyful spirit, our famous laughter, is not heard by them anymore as they are long gone - so are we, as we started to move on. Our road is still a long one to go, our hearts may still need to be cleansed, but we've started to heal again.
