Ashley Nicolette FrangipaneLuke Sital-Singh • "Killing Me" (3:13+) Piano, My Dear (S02W02)‘Killing Me’ was written in tribute to Luke’s Grandmother and the life she has lived since his Grandfather passed away 10 years ago. As Luke says, “I’m often moved thinking about her living without him. She misses him and talks about him everyday. Her broken heart breaks mine and this song was written about that.”Sweet heart, would you wake up today? I promise, you would recognize my faith
I wanna show you, how I've grown in this place In this place, I'm not alone and I know I'll be okay
But it's always harder, when the winter comes to stay When I can't help but remember, all the words I'd never say
And it's killing me, that you're not here with me I'm living happily, but I'm feeling guilty Oh you won't believe, the wonders I can see This world is changing me, but I'll love you faithfully
Everything is taller these days Or maybe I feel smaller and time rushes away
There's so much I could show you Oh, the great grandchildren have been laughing like we did when we were young Oh, I've been laughing like we did when we were young
But it's killing me, that you're not here with me I'm living happily, but I'm feeling guilty Oh you won't believe, the wonders I can see This world is changing me, but I I'll love you faithfully
Oh, it's killing me, that you're not here with me I'm living happily, but I'm feeling guilty Oh you won't believe, the wonders I can see This world is changing me, but I I'll love you faithfully
Yeah, it's killing me, that you're not here with me I'm living happily, but I'm feeling guilty Oh you won't believe, the wonders I can see This world is changing me, but I'll love you faithfully

"Black Velvet" was released in December 1989 as one of four singles from Myles' 1989 eponymous album. It became a number-one hit for two weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in 1990 and reached number one on the Album Rock Tracks chart, as well as number ten in her native Canada and number two on the UK Singles Chart. The song also reached number one in Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland and was a major success in several other countries. It contains blues verses with a rock chorus. Since its release, the power ballad has received substantial airplay, and more than four million radio plays (back in 2005). "Black Velvet" is also the only song by Myles that became an international hit, making her part of the 'One Hit Wonder' family.

MucLanna Category: S04 W04, Playing with Numbers. (Pick a song fitting the Number 7) Florence and the Machine: "Seven Devils" Recap: (2:43+)
This haunting song was made in 2011 as part of their Ceremonials Album, The song focus on the Seven deadly sins that affects everyones everyday lives. It breaks relationships and causes evil. It also states about the flaws of the person your in love with and the flaws within you. Its a song that everyone can relate to. It can also be a sign of warning to be alert of the dark side of your mind, that it exists and what it can do to you so that you can try to fight it down before it kills your joy and steals your life. The lines 'it takes your heart, and it takes your soul,' describe this.Holy water cannot help you down
Hours and armies couldn't keep me out
I don't want your money
I don't want your crowd
See I have to burn
Your kingdom down
Holy water cannot help you now
See I've had to burn your kingdom down
And no rivers and no lakes can put the fire out
I'm gonna raise the stakes, I'm gonna smoke you out
Seven devils all around you
Seven devils in my house
See they were there when I woke up this morning
I'll be dead before the day is done
Seven devils all around you
Seven devils in your house
See I was dead when I woke up this morning
I'll be dead before the day is done
Before the day is done
And now all your love will be exorcised
And we will find you saying it's to be better now
And it's an even sum
It's a melody
It's a battle cry
It's a symphony
Seven devils all around you
Seven devils in my house
See they were there when I woke up this morning
I'll be dead before the day is done
Seven devils all around you
Seven devils in your house
See I was dead when I woke up this morning
And I'll be dead before the day is done
Before the day is done
Before the day is done
Before the day is done
They can keep me high
'Til I tear the walls
'Til I save your heart
And I take your soul
And what have we done?
Can I be undone?
In the evil heart
In the evil soul
Seven devils all around you
Seven devils in your house
See I was dead when I woke up this morning
I'll be dead before the day is done
Before the day is done

Reth Category: S02W10: Break My Heart Freya Riddings - Lost Without You
2:19+ I chose this song because for me it really captures the feeling of losing a loved one. When listening to this it immediately brought up the memories I have of my grandmother, we where really close untill she passed away 4 years ago. Even after all these years I really miss her and I would do everything to see her again! And this song also kind of reminds me of a song that was played at her funeral. And I know it is a song about losing a lover but it gives me this feelings and I cried the first time i heard it.
Lyrics Standin' on the platform Watching you go It's like no other pain I've ever known To love someone so much To have no control You said, "I wanna see the world" And I said, "Go" But I think I'm lost without you I just feel crushed without you I've been strong for so long That I never thought how much I needed you I think I'm lost without you Strangers rushin' past Just tryna get home But you were the only Safehaven that I've known Hits me at full speed Feel like I can't breathe And nobody knows This pain inside me My world is crumbling I should never have Let you go I think I'm lost without you I think I'm lost, lost, lost Ooh-way, ooh-way, ooh-way, ooh, ooh I think I'm lost without you, you I just feel crushed without you 'Cause I've been strong for so long That I never thought how much I love you Standin' on the platform Watching you go You said, "I wanna see the world" And I said, "Go"

Nadia - "Lost" (1:10 on)
This is definitely a cheap song, a clear rip-off of "Faded" and sung in a barely recognizable english. Nevertheless, you can't deny it's a bop and is really catchy!

Mariah de la Storm Kingdom Hearts 2 - "Dearly Beloved" S04W08 // Queen of Nerds (Video Game week)
(1:31+)
"Dearly Beloved" is the opening theme to all Kingdom Hearts series games and is composed by Yoko Shimomura. It is considered the main theme of the Kingdom Hearts series.
At first, this might not seem like the song that comes to your mind when you think of a Video Game soundtrack. However, it is the perfect song to set the atmosphere of the game. It would probably be hard to understand the emotional aspect of it if you haven't played the game(s), especially because of their really complicated story. But even then, I think it's a great composition on it's own, that deserves the credit it gets. Besides that, the main reason I chose this song is because of the emotional attachment that I have to it, and having played Kingdom Hearts 2, it really makes me nostalgic and brings back a lot of good memories. This is also why I chose the second version of this song which is often considered to be the best.
