TORLOVAN ENTRY REVEALED
The voting in the 3rd edition of Torlovan Stars has come to an end, and we can finally announce the lucky entrant that will wave the
Torlovan flag in Egline, 
Alkyria!42 head of delegations casted their vote in the national final, and the final verdict is here!
Meaning, our representant in the 16th edition of the Fantasia Contest is no one other than...
TAMINO!
21-year-old artist Tamino (born Tamino Moharam Fouad) is a half- Torlovan, half- 
Flirsk artist.
Torlovan, half- Flirsk artist. Few voices make you stop in your tracks. For some, it only happens once or twice in their lifetime, to hear something with a visceral, immediate power so unique that it seems otherworldly. Tamino is one of those voices.
His debut single “Habibi” (“my love” or “sweetheart” in High Semetican), received considerable airplay in Torlova before being picked up in the Flirskmasto, his mother's homeland where he spent his childhood, likely because it sounded like nothing else in popular music. Before he’d even performed a show for the first time in Itzmir, Torlovan record labels clamoured to win him over.
His application to Torlovan Stars was actually made by his father, who was trying to convince him to enter since the debut of Torlova in the Fantasia Contest, and he eventally got picked for the line up. Winning by the 26 votes out of 42 delegations beating Mree who got 23 votes, he made these statements:
"Oh my god, I am shook. I never believed that this would actually happen, and I am so proud to represent my country in such an important event. Love you all!"
Similar to the previously released tracks, 'Persephone' is dominated by Tamino's warm and passionate voice hovering in the middle of the image, while spare acoustic guitar makes up a watery background. Listen closely enough and you'll hear extra atmospherics, which give Tamino's devotional lyrics an added weight. His natural magnetism is as powerful as ever, suggesting that Amir will be one of the most captivating releases of the year in Torlova.
'Persephone' comes with a starkly shot black and white video starring Tamino himself. Watch and listen to 'Persephone' below.
