KA'A AND KEHBÉ IN FANTASIA CONTEST #16
KKBC is proud to reveal that Modeselektor & Flohio will represent the country in Fantasia Contest #16. Following a successful national final, the collaboration ran out victors of the contest with 33% of the vote, winning the chance to represent the nations of Ka'a and Kehbé on the international stage. Speaking on behalf of the country, Head of Delegation Steven Katunda stated that the choice for Ka'a and Kehbé was "another fantastic representation of our nation's music scene. We are not afraid to showcase our culture, nature, grit. We wish them the best of luck".
Modeselektor is an electronic music duo from Palesa, Kehbé, made up of Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary. Formed in 1996, they have a wildly diverse range of music. Their music has been described as "controlled chaos" whose "sonic expression elevates the eyebrows of critics and the heartbeats of the dancefloors around the world." Flohio is no stranger to the Fantasia Contest, competing in the last edition with the song "Fights" which ultimately failed to progress to the final but she became a firm fan-favourite following the contest. She's now back for redemption on another collaboration, hoping to take Ka'a and Kehbé back into the final.
They'll bring "Wealth" to the contest, a fast-paced raw track. It will be hard to get this banging beat out of your head!

Entry reveal!
The pressure is on in Alkyria, as the nation is prepared to host for the second time Fantasia Contest in the city of Egline. While the hosts are already rehearsing and the city is making the last finishing touches to receive the upcoming contestants in the host city, we still don't know who is going to be the host entrant.
Don't fret, we aren't going to make you wait for so long.
Going back to our lovely roots, our entrant and therefore the host act is....
BETTIEViolet Chachki("Dinner's ready!")[1:02+]
 Violet Chachki is no stranger to Fantasia Contest - acting as a spokeperson in the very first edition and commenting the earlier editions alongside other notorious drag queens at the time.
Born as Jason Dardo, the Violet persona started to gain shape around the young age of 18, when he started performing in drag clubs around his native hometown, Sakiya. His notoriety brought the attention of several local drag queens, such as Dax ExclamationPoint (who applied a season later after Violet won), which would eventually adopt Violet as her drag daughter.
Chachki was bold, though - after failing to pass through the selection for the sixth edition of RuPaul's Drag Race, she managed to sneak through in the seventh. She eventually won her season, solidifying her status as a drag alumni. Since then, Violet had plenty of projects varying from modelling, burlesque performances, as a TV personality and of course a music artist(-ish).
"I think I've done almost everything at this point. I don't regret them any bit. From TV commercials to drag performances, from acting to singing and even shading a few bitches here and there, the list goes on. And here I am now, rambling about shit when no one actually cares."
Violet remembers vividly the first encounter with Fantasia Contest too.
"First time I was hired for this job was in the first edition, I believe. I remember that mama Ru was participating and that Michelle Visage was the only one which had the job to comment the edition as a whole. Sadly I wish I could've said "I hate Michelle Visage" on camera, but the broadcaster looked at me as if I wanted to kill someone and snatch their jewels or something. Gave me a long ass paper, even I felt bored reading it in front of a planet. But hey, here I am again - this time being the host entrant. I love the contest though. Made me look gayer than I actually am. Cheers to that!"
"Bettie" is the lead single of Violet's EP entitled "Gagged" - which covered the "presentation vs reality" idea, as well as the masculine and feminine roles. In the atypical Chachki manner, it doesn't hold back on the fetish roles, especially regarding the dominatrix role and BDSM.
"I'm not a singer to begin with, I've been pretty open to that, yet I'm willing to give the performance of your lives. Just bringing the old-school back in the true Alkyrian manner, you know?   JBH has announced the Jarean representative(s)! After many weeks of intense deliberation at JBH, the artist and song for Egline can finally be announced!
For the second edition in a row the song is primarily in Koran and is being sung by a girl group, continuing the streak of girl groups representing Jarea. It comprises of both Koran and Jaranese members, which is rare in the Jarean music industry.
Representing Jarea is...
 IZ*ONE Iz*One (Hangul:아이즈원), is a Koran - Jaranese girl group formed through the Mnet reality competition show Produce 48. The group, managed by Off the Table Entertainment, is composed of twelve members: Jang Won-young, Sakura Miyawaki, Jo Yu-ri, Choi Ye-na, Ahn Yu-jin, Nako Yabuki, Kwon Eun-bi, Kang Hye-won, Hitomi Honda, Kim Chae-won, Kim Min-ju and Lee Chae-yeon.

LINA MALY WINS UNSER SONG WITH 52,17%!
Scandavia has officially selected its entrant and it's Lina Maly with "Gesicht" (Face)! The song was Scandavia's overall favourite in every duel, winning over its first encounter in the selection with 94,12% of the votes. Lina will now move on to represent Scandavia in the sixteenth Fantasia Contest in Alkyria.
