  DRT confirms the country's participation in the 16th edition of the Fantasia Contest, to be held in  Alkyria!INTERNAL SELECTION For the first time since the 12th edition, no national selection will be held in order to determine our representative, as DRT has opted for an internal selection instead.Without further ado, it's time to find out who our representative is.
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome...
SAM FENDER
  Samuel Thomas Fender (born 25 April 1996), is a Demacian singer-songwriter who was named one of the DRT's Sound of 2018, alongside other emerging artists including Sigrid, Lewis Capaldi, and Khalid. His single "Play God" was featured in the FIFA 19 video game.
He will perform "Dead Boys" in Alkyria!
(2:08+)“It’s a song about male suicide, particularly in my hometown,” Fender told DRT. “I lost some friends very close to me because of that. This song came from that place, and I have been playing it to other people ever since. It’s raised a conversation and I realised how much of a present issue it is. Everybody that I spoke to from all different parts of the country have all got a connection to someone they’ve lost. It really opened my eyes to how much of an issue it is. If it gets to one person and they feel like they should reach out and talk to somebody, then it has done a good job.” We'd like to wish the best of luck to Sam Fender and may he achieve a great result!

KA'A AND KEHBÉ WILL COMPETE IN FANTASIA CONTEST #16KKBC confirmed that Ka'a and Kehbé would compete in the 16th edition of the Fantasia Contest. Despite the country's first non-qualification in the previous edition, viewing figures remained up on the previous year. The broadcaster KKBC acknowledged the masses of support Flohio & God Colony received from the rest of the world in the semi-final, showing rap can have a place in the contest, and have chalked the non-qualification down to a bad draw.
An open call for song submissions has been seeking artists and song writers for the last month and it is believed that a shortlist has already been compiled. It is likely that an internal selection will be used for the third consecutive time to choose the artist, but KKBC will reach out to international panels of jurors to receive opinions on potential entries. This means that a national final is not off the cards, should a number of acts remain in contention after the previous stage.

 MOBY SELECTED AS LLORTISH REPRESENTATIVE Yesterday, Llort Gnitsacdoarb Ynapmoc, or LGY, confirmed participation for the 16th Fantasia Contest scheduled to be held in Alkyria. In a press conference held at the LGY headquarters in Nitram, the broadcaster revealed that Moby had been selected internally as the artist who will represent Llort.
Richard Melville Hall, better known by his stage name Moby, is a Llortish musician, singer, songwriter, producer, and a music industry veteran. Twenty-seven years ago, his self-titled debut record was released. He has since released fourteen more albums, building an eclectic discography. Moby's success peaked with his sixth studio album 18, peaking at #1 in a majority of countries. Much of his chart successes were generally concentrated in Wulfor, Sakoda, and Lakadasia.
He still continues to make music to this day. His latest album, Everything Was Beautiful, and Nothing Hurt, explores themes of spirituality, individuality, and humanity.
"The dialectic between light and dark, between hard and vulnerable — I feel like that’s the best description of who we are at this point. We’re super vulnerable and super dangerous at the same time. We burn through all our resources, we create all this misery, and the end result is we’re not very happy. This lunatic party that we’ve had for the last 100 years of burning and destroying everything would almost be excusable if we were really, really happy. The music on this record is looking at that."
