[posting on behalf of 𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐋 , he's not able to post the entry himself now]  GEORGIAN ACT FOR DUBLIN HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED!
The Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) has finally announced their entry for the upcoming North Vision Song Contest, held in Dublin. Songwriters and performers, who have a proven track record of success in the music industry were invited to submit a song to be considered to represent Georgia in Ireland.
Head of the Georgian delegation said:  Although we didn't manage to qualify to the grand final, we were really proud of the Georgian performance in Odessa last edition. Months of work went into planning our North Vision act, bringing together the various audio and visual elements, from song arrangement to choreography to lighting design. For the upcoming edition we wanted to produce a world-class act that will make us proud on stage in Dublin. 
In Ukraine, Apolloe represented Georgia. He performed "Suicide Tea" on the Ukrainian stage and the song was named "one of the most underrated songs of the edition" after it non-qualified.
Now, he had the honor of announcing their successors.

INSOMNIA
SopioT will represent Georgia at the 28th North Vision Song Contest with "Insomnia".
SopioT (actually Sophio Toroshelidze) is a Georgian singer, which is also a part of a popular Georgian band Eldrine, which represented Georgia at Eurovision Song Contest in Germany 8 years ago. Safe to say Sopho already has some song contest and TV experience, she definitely won't be shy on the Dublin stage!
"INSOMNIA"
Her song for the contest "Insomnia" has a strong music video and just like the song, it shares some creepy vibes with the listener. It clearly brings a strong message to the competition but will the viewers get into that and vote for SopioT in the coming weeks? Only time will tell.

RAI is ready to confirm that the entry for the edition will be
Tersø - Le Promesse
Tersø are Marta Moretti, Alessandro Renzetti, Luca Ferriani and Alessio Festuccia, an electronic/dance four-piece from Bologna, Emilia-Romagna formed in 2016.
Their songwriting phase immediately began and is characterized by the union of electronic sounds, vocal samples and Italian lyrics. They released their first EP, L'altra parte in 2017, which after a premiere on Rolling Stone led the band to kick off a series of concerts around Italy, as well as being the opening act for Cosmo.
The group returned to the studio in the winter of 2018, beginning to mix tracks for their first album "Fiori dalla Giungla", released under the Vulcano label in February 2019.
"Le Promesse" (English: Promises) is an electronica song that between the ethereal pulses and synths, truly captivates your musical ear. The song is more contemporary and mature in sound in comparison to previous Italian entries, with a deeper lyrical meaning in relation to the limbo between different stages of adulthood, as well as a yearning for social bonds and connections on a deeper emotional level.
The song was written by Tersø and produced by Tersø and Marco Caldera.

The video is composed of nine floor sequences which begin and end without ever coming back. Places, shots and consequently points of view change. In the midst of all this, staying still is a non-action that emphasizes what remains the focus of the speech: the fact that you just can't understand why, that time, we said goodbye promising to talk again soon and then we never do it.
The real adventure is to return to the more naked and sincere version of ourselves, an alternative way to open a passage and truly look back.
The song is sung entirely in Italian.
RAI are glad to be able to present the entry to the public, hoping that the sound will resonate with the European, Central and West Asian and North African public.
