DREVONA CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION IN THE FANTASIA CONTEST 17!
Drevonan National Television, shortened as DNT, is able to announce that  Drevona will take part in Fantasia Contest 17! This decision came out shortly after our hopefull for the 16th edition -  Nathy Peluso surprisingly qualified to the Grand Final. This qualification, which was the first one in the history of the country, increased the popularity of the contest in Drevona. "People are enjoying this festival. There are no signs why we should withdraw" - said the HoD.
It is also confirmed, that for the #17 edition Drevona will host a National Selection. "drevoo2" will be the way of choosing the entrant. 6 artists will again compete in the selection. Winner will be decided by the poll voting. Some rumours say, that the selection will include a  Levallese and  Fordian artists, but the talks weren't confirmed by DNT.

Hwaesonna confirms for Edition 17!
Today, FTStv announced that  Hwaesonna would participate in the 17th Fantasia contest, following Canine's qualification in  Alkyria. The broadcaster also confirmed that the country's national selection, The Hwae Home, would return for a 3rd edition. Further details regarding the selection will be revealed following the results of the 16th edition.

LAKADAMIA WITHDRAWS.
The TRLK confirmed this on the morning, but  Lakadamia will not travel for the 17th Fantasia Contest.
The broadcaster cited a lack of motivation to enter, especially after two non-consecutive finals in a row.
A return in the 18th edition is, expected, but unknown at this point.
okay so, I know "lack of motivation" is quite dumb, considering that some countries have failed more than I did, but for two editions, I have been trying my best to show the Francophonic music stage, sometimes it worked, sometimes it doesn't, that's the game. But as on the last two editions, i've also tried my best to provide videos and getting the reactions that they are not good and that the entry flops because of that... well eh.
I could revert my position, idk, but as of now, I'm out for this edition.

 juliana confirms basquiat, juliana -- a spokesperson for JEF has confirmed  juliana's presence in the upcoming fantasia contest.
the same selection method (melody arena) as last edition will be used, and is JEF in the final stages of selecting the artists.

TRIVANIA CONFIRMS! After Trivania has surprisingly qualified for the final, TTV has confirmed the ongoing participation of their country, as well as another edition of Trivanian Song Festival to be held to determine their entry.SELECTION METHOD  TTV has confirmed Trivanian Song Festival #08 to be held to determine the Trivanian entry.
The format of the selection has been revealed as the same as in previous editions
That means 20 Trivanian acts will compete in one final.
The winner will be determined by 1⁄3 Jury voting, 1⁄3 Televoting and 1⁄3 Poll voting.
In case of a tie, there will be a gold final.
More information will be revealed at a later date. |

KA'A AND KEHBÉ TO BE PRESENT AT FANTASIA CONTEST #17Motomaji, Kehbé - 1 July 2019KKBC has confirmed that Ka'a and Kehbé will compete in the 17th edition of the Fantasia Contest. After returning to the final in the previous edition, viewing figures reached a new peak. The contest is gaining more and more traction with the Ka'an and Kehban publics and looks likely to become a permanent feature on the broadcaster's calendar.
An open call for song submissions began last week, with KKBC also reaching out to artists to submit entries. It is believed Ka'a and Kehbé will return to an internal selection for the 17th edition.

Wyvernbourne confirms for 17th edition!
Despite another dismal result in the previous edition in Alkyria, WYVtv can confirm the country's 4th participation in the contest. The national delegate for Wyvernbourne simply stated that "the Fantasia Contest wouldn't be whole without Wyvernbourne."
WYVtv also states that the contestant for the 17th edition will be a "familiar face". More news to follow soon!
