Algeria to be present in the 30th edition of the North Vision Song Contest
Algeria is to take part in the thirtieth edition of the North Vision Song Contest despite failing to qualify for the final in the last edition. Head of Delegation Stefan Kayteb stated "we will attempt again to bring Algeria back to the final of the contest. We had the best song last edition, but unfortunately the song was not respected with European juries. #YSARMY trended throughout the continent following her shock non-qualification, so we can only assume the public loved her."
The broadcaster revealed that the representative will most likely be selected internally, with no plans currently to host a national selection, although it has not been completely ruled out.

 ICELAND FINALLY CONFIRMS!
Ríkisútvarpið (RÚV), the Icelandic broadcaster, has just announced that Iceland would be participating in the 30th edition of North Vision Song Contest to be held in  Sweden. The news was confirmed this evening in an interview with the head of delegation on RÚV.
A little while ago, RÚV announced that their participation was in doubt due to the uncertainty surrounding the semi-final results in which Kælan Mikla failed to qualify to the final. The possible participation in the pre-qualification round also put RÚV off from confirming straight away. However, after it was revealed that Iceland came 14th in the semi-final, the broadcaster confirmed participation immediately and has already begun planning for the upcoming edition.
In a statement, the Icelandic head of delegation,  Dýri Brjánsson commented that:
Firstly, we send our huge congratulations to the winner - Iceland surely loved it since we awarded it our maximum amount of points! Secondly, we are so proud in our talented Kælan Mikla who managed to come in 14th which is a respectable result. With Iceland's spot in the semi-finals next edition secured, there was no doubt in the team about Iceland's participation.
In addition, RÚV has announced that they are now exploring the option of a national selection, with both newcomers and returnees. New singers are encouraged to continue sending their songs in, and artists that represented Iceland in the past 29 editions are also invited to submit songs.

 San Marino confirms participation!
San Marino RTV CONFIRMS participation in NVSC #30.
After the 20th place with Joey and third best country among the AQ countries, the Sammarinese HoD can only confirm the presence of the small country in the next edition in  Sweden. This edition will be very important for us, we will close another cycle of 10 editions. We will celebrate together with the other countries so we cannot miss it.

Tersø provided a new, more relaxed sound for Italy, and the group showed off another, more unknown side to the Italian music industry that has not been exposed to the European market on a wider level. With this development, it can be confirmed that Italy will be continuing on this path of providing musical diversity and talent within its entries. Our entry for the 30th edition sounds like a song that has never been heard before from Italy in a new genre.
