  I'm a little torn with this as I always wanted to see Arilena go to Eurovision but at the same time I feel like this wasn't her year ;_; While the song is pretty good, it feels like any other ballad that has already been sent in Eurovision ... and well yeah Me Tana was miles better than it. But we are all already used to fan favorites failing in the end so lel |

 I generally really like this. Gave this  so far as I don't really wanna start with a higher score especially since I wanna compare it to other songs + waiting for it to grow on me but a great entry from Albania. People call it basic Albanian ballad but it's good so what. I prefer great ballads over generic upbeat songs that somehow fans don't mind having despite them being highly unoriginal, seen before but complaining about ballads okkk. Glad "Me Tana" lost to smth like this x

 ok nothing new but elvana was better  this is still a great song and arilena has such an amazing voice  just hoping for a revamp now.. |

 So glad Shaj won. Albania definitely has a formula, and I love it so much. Right now, I’m loving the fact that a certain someone’s stans are becoming Aly Ryan stans 2.0 I’m hella glad the fanwank of FiK died y’all have no clue I also know I’m gonna piss off a whole lot of you with this but I don’t give a damn. Me Tana wasn’t good. Elvana’s vocals were meh at best, and there wasn’t a lot to enjoy about it. Albania made the right choice, and I can’t wait to see what they do with Shaj. |

Being honest, I was low-key hyped for Elvana taking part in Festivali i Këngës, but listened to Me Tana only twice (for time reasons) and never heard any of the other songs because I had to prioritize Nvsc ... Anyway back to topic: Even though I wanted Elvana to win, somewhere deep down in me I knew that it wasn't going to be her winning. And I was sure that it was most likely going to be Arilena beating her (I mean it was Arilena vs. Elvana from the beginning). And here we are.  Being honest I was never a fan of Arilena at all (guess the "older" users remember how much I disliked Aeroplan back in the days - and still do.). She kinda got me with Nëntori tho (which should still be somewhere on my Spotify.). Shaj is a typical pop ballad which I personally don't mind and would therefore give a  . I, however decided to subtract one more point because it's also a bit boring. Guess it's now time to wait for the revamp (hopefully without language change) which I hope to like the outcome of since ballads are often going right into my music taste. All in all it's an okay entry, but imo a bit a letdown after the last 2 years. And it could also become a bit of a regression to the (imo) rather disappointing "era" 2014 - 2017. |

 Elvana and Arilena were my top2 and I was just hoping one of them were the winner. I just have the feeling that if Elvana had won, people would forget her song in May or maybe get bored of it. I just see Shaj as a better package for ESC with good vocals, good music and good song overall. |
