Los Domingos, Corona - After being silent this whole edition we can finally reveal something. Pa' clavarte un pa'l de clavos, with NEBC as they have proposed the Eldancan act for this edition.

INTERNAL SELECTION

All the broadcaster have decided to put Sunshine & Stars in hold for again and allowed NEBC to take the wheel once again from its successful attempt last edition
This being the second time since its debut that Eldance is going internal.
NEBC has a good record with always giving Eldance a top 6 mark the last being with Prequell & Rae Morris back in #10, and now including last editions 5th place with Mayra Verónica.

Holly Herndon to sing "Frontier"!

Cöhln, 15th January: Roughly a month after Holly Herndon was announced as

Lanovina's representative for the upcoming 19th Fantasia Contest, Lanovision Song Festival has come to an end with a victory of "Frontier". In the gold final it managed to win with 66.67% over the runner-up, "Eternal", after also winning the first round. Holly is known for her incorporation of AI singing in her songs and having a very futuristic sound, which can also be heard in "Frontier". The song, which is included on her most recent album PROTO, stands out in her discography as it has a more tribal-like vibe to it, despite (or maybe because of) the AI usage. But enough said, it's better to just listen and enjoy:

Frootania provokes a feminist statement with foreign returnee.

The country has decided to opt for an internal selection after hinting at a national selection consisting of purely foreign acts that have already participated in the contest before - now, it was revealed that one was chosen internally by the broadcaster.

The artist has participated in the past in the name of

Achróa as part of a top-charting band in

Frootania, and thus was rewarded citizenship in both countries. With great honour, we want to present to you, the one, the only ...

Walk the street like a woman should, like nobody was around.

She is Hayley Mary!

Part of the record-breaking iconic band

The Jezabels (who placed 11th with "Stamina" in the 11th edition), this Frootish-Achróan export has taken the world by storm with her ongoing solo career. Hayley is known for her witty personality and down-to-earth spirit. Mary's voice is gorgeous – with more range than the Himalayas – and "Like a Woman Should" is brillant blast of punky pop attitude laden with melody and swagger. Mary has managed to infuse the attitude and delivery of singers like Sharon Van Etten and Chrissie Hynde while forging her own identity, mixing in a little goth, a little punk and a lot of of bottle:

“I wrote this one evening while living in Frootania, away from Achróa, while sipping a red wine in the middle of winter. I’d been on my own for a while as my partner was away and the chorus just came to me. I think of it a little bit as a reflection on the zone where insecurity clashes with romance; or harsh realities meet idealism. Perhaps it’s an expression of my hope that the latter will win in the end.”

She is about to release her first EP titled "The Piss, The Perfume" this Friday, including the current entry.

IN TORLOVA!

A few days ago, KRTV could reveal that the liquid drum and bass musician Etherwood is representing the country in the 19th edition.
But at last, Etherwood can finally reveal the entry which he will be performing in Torlova.

The song, together with the album by the same title, was written and procuded while Etherwood was taking inspiration in

Danskanksova.
Exploring the Dansk wilderness, surrounded by the immense atmosphere and calm solitude around him,
Etherwood implemented a lot of his experiences he got from the nation to fulfill the sound that the album has.
His Fantasia entry has been said to "set the tone [of the album], walking a blissful line of Etherwood's own vocal stylings and angelic melodies."

Ladies & gentlemen, we'll like to introduce to you, the Kingdovanian entry for the 19th Fantasia Contest...

Exactly one month passed since the Levallese national broadcaster, Levalle Brødkorpori (LB) confirmed that the Levallese artist for the nineteenth edition of Fantasia Contest would be chosen through an internal selection. Levalle, who last edition was represented by Debby Friday, came in fourth place in the grand final and therefore achieved country's best result to date. Such a result gave the national broadcaster a chance to select an act who is now assured of a final spot in the forthcoming edition, held in Itzmir, Torlova. The name of the chosen representative was revealed during a press conference held on Wednesday at the LB headquarters in Frigg.

HEALTH

Health is a Levallese noise rock band. Over the course of their career, they found different ways to express existential dread with their alternately harsh and haunting mix of dense guitars and synths, and Jake Duzsik's soft vocals.
They emerged from experimental rock scene in the late 2000s. As the years passed, they refined this sound, mainly adding elements of trap and industrial to their recent tracks.

Their entry for the forthcoming edition of Fantasia Contest will be Feel Nothing.
It is an intense number, pulling of overproduction and heavy effects like it is the easiest thing to do. It also conveys its dark energy, coming with a strong feel and direction.
