Personally I don't like possible general restrictions for world famous songs. Of course it gets very tiring especially for less successful participants (not to mention that many of us don't even have them - and once we're getting an unexpected 2nd place it's obvs behind something like that (generally speaking, but I think you understand)) and sometimes the winner's been quite obvious from the start. On a side note I also enjoy to hear and them. Idk if that's just me though. This sounds like you think these restrictions would be in place forever. I'm talking only about the 100th edition as I'd like it to be special. When I think special I don't think Avril Lavigne, Madonna, and Enrique Iglesias. I think everyone can survive without hits and famous artist for one edition (the rest is all up to players if they want to send them or not). And yes, the first two restrictions don't apply to all countries. I think I only have one act that would. Maybe I should just keep the last restriction and hope all major stars were already sent (which is impossible for all big nations). Not sure what else could be done to get a more level playing field. Maybe I shouldn't strive for this...
