  A rollercoaster of emotions After Elettra's respectable fourteenth place in  Lillehammer, RAI confirms that Italy will indeed be present in the thirty-second edition held in  Luxembourg. Whilst the method of selection is still yet to be determined, RAI has received several submissions that it is currently deciding what to do with.
 After the success of our National Final, bringing Italy back to the Grand Final, we are ecstatic to confirm the Italian participation for the upcoming thirty-second edition. Whilst some health and safety measures will have to be imposed, we are still extremely excited to lift every Italian's spirits up by our participation here.
Due to restraints, at present, we are uncertain as to how we will choose our entry, but we can announce now that the submissions that we have received so far are some of the highest quality submissions that we have received since the edition begun. We may still hold a National Final with viewers voting online, but at the moment, the outlook is uncertain.
We can guarantee to the European, North African, and Asia-Pacific audiences that Italy is going to make her presence noted with a liberation.

SLOVENIA WILL TAKE PART IN THE PRE-QUALIFICATION ROUND
Following the unfortunate last place in the first semi final in the 31st edition, RTVSLO has been in a debacle whether the country will take part in the upcoming contest.
However, RTVSLO has revealed today that Slovenia will be partaking in the upcoming competition held in Luxembourg.
It was a very difficult decision with several weeks of discussion on what we would do for the 32nd edition,
but the team behind RTVSLO NVSC delegation decided that participating in the pre-qualification round is worth the risk.
We feel that withdrawing from the pre-qualification round would be a very weak move, and we'll prove that we won't give up at this rate.
The Slovenian participant and entry will be revealed in the coming days prior to the deadline for the pre-qualification round. |
