Very difficult to predict something, to be honest. But then I see better potential in  Italy,  Canada,  the US, and  Finland; and do also think that  Germany,  Slovenia and  Philippines stand chances, though, comparatively less. In general, I do believe that the edition is very unpredictable and we will perhaps not have a runaway winner. |

I usually don't comment the results of the editions anymore but this time I feel very uncomfortable by the winner of this special edition. For a very simple reason: this song is anything but special. Most of the players made efforts in order to find something special, something unknown, and I also had to dig in a country that hasn't proper traditional genre (except regional ones). And finally the winning song is a massive worldwide hit that could have competed in any normal edition. Chile would have been a 100 times better winner.
Again that was a quite tough decade for France. It began pretty well (but nothing better than a 3rd place, so no win in 65 editions and 41 months now...) but the second half was the worst ever. But I won't give up, I'll keep on trying until I can erase these numerous unexplainable flops. |

I just want to say thanks for all the votes, I feel pretty glad because I think the choice I made was pretty risky and It's part of a culture that even Chilean Themselves tend to ignore. I love my country and its thousands of different cultures, and the fact y'all like what I send really does make me feel validated as a  Chilean person  (Sorry for the emotional-ish statement, it just came out of my heart) I know that the Winner may have had some type of advantage because it was already quite known. But the song is still good IMO, fitted the category and y'all did vote for it, so I just have to say congratulations. See you in the U.S next edition  |

 23rd place... Welp, not very shocked I guess  In any case, thanks to Armenia for the  and to  Austria for the  , as well as to everyone else who voted for the song (    ).  The results are not really my cup of tea, with just my  and  points making it to the TOP 10 (  and  respectively) but I'm quite used to that... Congratulations to the United States for their victory. Guess it's one of the countries that were quite expected to do well anyway. I'd probably mention a lot of countries and refer to them as 'underrated' but the one that I find the most underrated is Ethiopia. A true pity that entry didn't do so well...  Regarding the presentation of the results, I just don't know, it felt a bit weird to be honest. I didn't mind it though, it was quite interesting. Maybe it'd be even better if you could add some background nerve-wrecking music (maybe the one you also used for the results video of some previous edition, which is also used in Themed results videos) to make it even more intense. This decade started pretty well for Cyprus but has ended with 2 low positions. I guess that's still been one of the best decades we've had and hopefully we get back to good results from next edition on! |
