ALGERIA CONFIRMS FOR NVSC #33
ENTV can confirm that  Algeria will be present for the thirty-third edition of the North Vision Song Contest. Following a second consecutive final appearance and another top 20 finish with Yanis and his track "Embrace", the delegation feels comfortable to confirm for the upcoming edition. Public opinion on the contest is beginning to see a positive upturn and viewing figures are gradually growing. The Arabic nation hopes to qualify for the Grand Final of the contest for the third time in a row which would be a first for the country.
Head of Delegation Stefan Kayteb stated "we feel really positive about the next edition of the contest. Our act has already been internally selected. We cannot wait to present another creative musical explosion of culture to Europe and beyond! Get ready to shake those hips."

Israel in the PQR IV: Let's make this short:
It's officially time to confirm that Israel will be present in the pre-qualification round. According to the Head of delegation the broadcaster received 2 unexpected submissions from a well-known singer whereof 1 of them will be taking part for the in the pre-qualification round.
When asked about the release of the entry the Head of delegation only said "It will be done soon." |

 SLOVAKIA CONFIRMS!
During a special press conference held in Bratislava last evening, RTVS announced Slovakia's participation in the Northvision Song Contest 33.
"We are extremely proud of RAKOVICKY who reached the 15th place in  Luxembourg City, our best result since the 17th edition!" said Maxim Raevic, the Head of Delegation.
RTVS can also confirm that the entry will be chosen through a national selection.
The format is not known yet but the broadcaster teased an "original" concept, which would promote the Slovak music industry to a whole new level.
According to "Nový Čas", Slovakia's most popular tabloid, some famous local artists have been approached like Kristina, Zuzana Smatanova, Ronie and Katarzia...

Despite failing to qualify from the PQR, and a behind the scenes incident, RTS has confirmed that Serbia will participate in the thirty-third edition of Northvision Song Contest
Another edition of BMGP will be held. The public will choose between either five or ten acts (the final number has not been decided yet). |

 The Czech Republic will continue its participation in the North Vision Song Contest! The broadcaster held a press conference earlier this week to announce the decision concerning the Czech participation in the contest. Head of Delegation Julius Horváth praised Václav and Eva for their stellar performance in last edition's PQR round, and expressed his disappointment regarding the country's placement and the narrow margin that prohibited our country to qualify to the Semi-Finals. Nonetheless,  Czech Republic does not have to face the PQR round this time, which means that the participation was not in doubt for any second, meaning that the nation will compete in the 33rd edition.
As earlier announced by our  Slovak collaborators, the two countries joined forces to create an innovative national selection, which will determine the two entries for the respective countries. 10 acts from each state perform for 5 guaranteed spots in the Final, while the 6th and 7th placed acts from each semi will face off in 2 duels to create the total line-up of 12 acts for the Grand Final.
The Czech Semi-Final [Semifinále 2] will commence in a few days, but until then don't forget to vote in the Slovak Semi-Final, by clicking the contest's logo below.
The Czech team would like to wish the absolute best of luck to each competing nation in the 33rd edition and we cannot wait to see and hear all the awesome talent from all over the world.

MONTENEGRO CONFIRMS! Podgorica, 10 July 2020
Montenegro has just confirmed their participation in the upcoming 33rd edition of the North Vision Song Contest in Georgia!
 "We have no intention to withdraw from the contest, after the nation's best result ever in the previous edition. Zoi brought back a respectable 2nd place back to the homeland, and since we have an automatic spot in the grand final, we will participate. 
Despite of a successful Mastefestival last edition, the broadcaster will be opting for an internal selection. Rumour has it that possible acts have been contacted and they will be revealed once the contracts are signed.
