~ Bulgaria's song has been revealed! ~

SOFIA, 16/7/2020 -- BNT announced a few weeks ago that they were not sure whether their North Vision song entry would come from an internal or national selection. With no news over that period of time, it was suddenly revealed today that BNT selected their act internally and the song would be revealed promptly.

In a statement from BNT: "It was more difficult than usual to find an act that was willing to sacrifice themselves to the high-stakes pre-qualification. Not only that, but general interest from Bulgaria dropped in recent editions. The act we chose committed to bring a summery, international vibe to the contest, and we are pleased with our choice."

An internal selection of six songs was assembled, which was narrowed down to two, and the lead juror chose the song from the remaining options.

BNT also noted they would use the next couple of months to design a new national selection show for the next edition, with details to be revealed in due time.

Without further ado, the Bulgarian delegation says hello to...

ALEX & VLADI!

Alexandra and Vladislava are a 25-yrs old twin duo from Sofia. After participating in the Bulgarian X-Factor, they moved to Plovdiv and graduated from the National School of Music & Dance. They have been releasing music for four years in various genres, including pop. They share their dance song with you all: "Italianec (италианец)"! (Bulgarian tr: "Italian")

According to their agent, the song is about "...calling out deceptive people who pretend to be something they are not. Are you trying to disguise yourself as an Italian? Spend a bunch of money you don't have? Stop it! Bad!"

The Italian delegation could not be reached for comment regarding whether Italians pretend to be Bulgarian and if this is a problem in their country.

BNT and the rest of Bulgaria wishes her luck on their (hopefully)
