It's Tigertown for Australia!

Following another closely fought battle, the winner of Australia Decides 33 has been crowned this morning, with SBS confirming that Tigertown will officially represent Australia in NVSC 33, when the contest comes to
Georgia later this summer.
Continuing the theme of family groups representing Australia after brother-sister duo Lastlings' fifth place last edition,
Tigertown is an anthemic indie pop four piece from Sydney, consisting of husband and wife Chris and Charlie Collins, and their siblings Elodie and Alexi. The song they won the selection with, "Papernote", won the selection with 24 votes, against October's 22 votes for "Pure". The full results were as follows:
4th. Bianca - Bitch (7 votes)
3rd. Nussy - Sahara (15 votes)
2nd. October - Pure (22 votes)
1st. Tigertown - Papernote (24 votes)
"Papernote" has been described by NVSC enthusiasts as having a "catchy chorus that stays in your mind", "highkey a banger", "anthemic" and "it reminds me of Tigertown lolo".

Australia made their North Vision debut in the thirtieth edition as part of the associate broadcaster celebrations, which Vera Blue won with her song "The Way That You Love Me" by just four points ahead of 2nd placed Uzbekistan. In the grand final, the song came in 7th place with 273 points, only just missing out on an automatic qualification position. In the 31st edition, they were represented by Vancouver Sleep Clinic and the song "Someone to Stay", which qualified once again to the grand final in Lillehammer, finishing in 13th place with 243 points. They achieved their best result to date in the 32nd edition with Lastlings and their song "Take My Hand", which finished in 5th place with 320 points, securing Australia's place in the final for the following edition.
