Before watching the results I shortlisted the possible winners. Those were  France (just because Patricia won before),  Bosnia & Herzegovina,  Spain,  Germany,  Finland and  Armenia. And And apparently that was quite good lol considering that I got 4 songs from the top 8 lol.
Wow congrats to the player for the win.  Well deserved not gonna lie. I see. We have a new powerhouse in the game.  It was a good entry and deserved that top 3. And  Slovenia placing 3rd however came highly unexpected to me.  I'm also not really a fan of it and find it a bit overrated myself ...  The top 5 streak continues. Guess the win would definitely be deserved by now. Also I love how Portugal and Spain both reached the top 5, but exchanged exactly  lol. I have questions about this placing only 17th! Many of them ... Also  Montenegro is a bit underrated as well. |

Well, 18th place isn't great nor bad actually I think it's really fitting, kinda expected that place for that song. Thanks to  Gil &  Chante for giving the highest marks I got & to all the others who voted for my entry. Maybe I'll have better luck next time Congrats to  Italix, I know you've been wanting this for so long, I'm glad you finally did and with a great song I should add. Glad to see, my  points  Bosnia & Herzegovina up there at the second spot & my  points  Portugal slaying like always, that win is quite overdue at this point, also glad to see most of my top 10 in the actual top 10. Also nice to see  Slovenia surprisingly doing well, I must say I am not a fan of that genre, but it's nice to see different styles in such high positions. The only ones I just wish it could've been much higher are  Azerbaijan & the  Philippines. The great majority of the songs this edition were really good, it was such a hard task to pick only 10 to vote for. See you in France  |

Thank you for that victory that was waited for ages! This is also the end of a record series of 14 editions with no top 3. I must say that this victory is particulary welcomed after some recent events...
Interesting fact: Patricia Kaas becomes the fourth double winner of the contest, but the only one who won with two different countries.
I also announce that next edition will take place in Cannes. The theme of the edition will be: movies. French entry will fit with that theme. Of course, this is not mandatory at all, and you can send any song you want, but you're invited to pick a song related to a movie as well. |

14th place... I guess you can never really know what to expect but I thought a TOP 10 result might be possible... In any case, thanks to everyone for the votes, especially 
for the 
for the 
3rd place but I am afraid I am not a fan of that genre... 
all deserved better (although obviously 5th is great in the case of the first one but it deserved to win) and 
clearly didn't deserve to be last!
