GAKKU TV has just confirmed the next  Kazakh entry!!Thanks to the sponsors, Kazakhstan keeps their participation in the NVSC, as due the latetly lately bad results and the broadcaster changes the public fund is lacking of money.
Last edition's Äwenfestïvali was hosted thanks to Pepsi Kazakhstan, this edition we are proudly teaming up with Magnat Kazakhstan. Their jurors panel helped us with the song selection, we are presenting you our internally selected artist and song !

Before making my first confirmation, I would just like to do some internal screaming and also say what a privilege it is to, after three and a half years of waiting, finally be participating here in NVSC (with my amazing Co-HoD, Lars ). I still can’t believe it’s actually happened but I look forward to getting to know you all and being involved here (as much as I can with university taking up so much time hhhhhh). Thank you to Luiri for your great job with Lebanon in the last ten editions, which I will try my best to continue, and best of luck with Latvia now it’s no longer for sale.    LEBANON IS IN!
Following internal changes in its delegation as the previous team moves to colder, Baltic climates, LBC is pleased to confirm the presence of Lebanon at the thirty-fourth edition of the North Vision Song Contest, which is due to be held in Slovakia.
Last edition, in Batumi, Pascale Machaalani came close to qualifying with 'Bkhaf i3sha2ak', placing eleventh in the semi-final. However, in spite of a non-qualification, the broadcaster is optimistic and determined to continue participating in the contest.
« For us, the North Vision Song Contest is a bright light at a rather dark time for Lebanon as a country. Admittedly we are disappointed and saddened by Pascale’s non-qualification in Georgia, but we are ready for action and already in search for another act to showcase all that Lebanon has to offer to this contest. »
In spite of budgets at LBC becoming ever more constrained due to the nation’s current economic instability, it has been confirmed that the Lebanese act for the thirty-fourth contest will be selected through a national selection, thanks to funding from a number of international sponsors who are keen to help the country continue to promote its music industry and culture on the international stage. It is not yet known whether the A Song for Lebanon name will be kept by the new delegation, or if a new selection format will be unveiled, but more information has been promised imminently.
Interested artists have some time left to submit their potential entries to LBC, with the shortlisted entries expected to be revealed later this month. The delegation has stated they are looking for songs to 'lead Lebanon in a brand new direction' but that 'time will tell in what direction this will be'.
Lebanon’s NVSC journey made the best possible start as Nicole Saba won for the country on their debut in the fifth edition with 'Hafdal Ahlam', bringing the contest to Beirut for the sixth edition and starting a (to this day unmatched) three-edition qualification streak. The country’s results from then on were rather turbulent, including two four-edition streaks of non-qualifications, although Myriam Fares achieved Lebanon’s second best result with 'Nifsi Aoulhalak' in the fourteenth edition - second place.
A new delegation stepped in for the twenty-fourth edition, bringing Lebanon back to the final with Nelly Makdessy’s 'Kunt Atmanna' in Vienna, and achieving three top ten results for the country (with 'Call Me a Stranger', '22' and 'Dear Jealousy') before passing the baton on to the current delegation team for the thirty-fourth edition onwards.

 Greece confirms internal selection – News regarding the entrant! Friday, 16 October 2020 • 23:24  Although the nation qualified once again for the eighth consecutive time to the final of North Vision Song Contest, despite Evangelia winning the semi-final the nation participated in, they did not hold the expectations to the final coming only eighteenth. Despite the shocking difference between the two results and a new record break the nation is proud to announce their participation in the thirty-forth edition of the contest this time held in Slovakia.Many speculations around the entrant! After many speculations on who would represent the nation this edition, the broadcaster and the Head of Delegation made sure to tease and leave many hints around the entrant. It was hinted that the entrant would be a returning artist and would try to maintain the great and successfull progress the nation has made since the new Delegation got the control. The broadcaster did not hesitate either to reveal a teaser of the upcoming Greek entry, leading everyone to suspicions about who would possibly earn the ticket for the next edition of the contest.ERT held a press conference with the Head of Delegation, Mr. George Jeckhas who revealed some details depending the next entrant of the contest. During the press questions, Head of Delegation gave the following statement:"We are very pleased to announce the decision has been made and we are looking forward to all of you knowing about our next representative. We so far can reveal that the nation is coming back very strong and we are happy to reveal that the entrant will be a returning artist. We can assure you all that despite the contradicting result of the thirty-third edition Greece will still fight for another great result and why not finally be able to be victorious!"  - Andorra will be present in North Vision Song Contest #34 -
After weeks of silence regarding the participation of Andorra in the 34th edition of the North Vision Song Contest, today RTVA has confirmed that the country will be present in the upcoming edition. Made in Andorra will come back in the hope of selecting the best possible entry for the country in order to make it back to the finals. More information will follow soon!

 AUSTRIA WITHDRAWS Breaking news incoming from a country that seldomly takes a break from the contest. After a qualification for the final, though only a twenty-first place despite ELIS NOA being considered one of the better artists sent by the country, Austria has decided to withdraw for an edition to regather strength and focus for the upcoming year: 2021. This decision comes after a long, mysterious absence from media, refusing to answer whether they'd participate and travel only a few miles to their neighbours in Slovakia. As of current, there are no indications on how long their absence may last, with ORF initially showing signs that they are eager to return after an edition.
Currently, I am in no state to continue my participation due to health reasons, though I sincerely aspire to be back.Am 18 Oktober 2020 in Graz veröffentlicht. Alle Rechte gehen an ORF und NBU.

 DENMARK CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION!18 October 2020 • Herning, Denmark DR has officially confirmed that Denmark will be competing in the upcoming 34th edition. Despite an unofficial confirmation a few days ago, the Delegation has officially confirmed that the country will be present in the edition set to take place in  Slovakia. Denmark will compete in NVSC 34 – will DMGP 27 take place? Although the country has confirmed, the selection method for the upcoming 34th edition has not been confirmed. The Head of Delegation reported that the broadcaster has received several submissions from singers and songwriters but they are still to make a decision on whether the entry will be selected through the country's long-running national selection or if the country will turn to an internal selection. "We are currently working on our entry selection; meaning we have not reached a final decision on whether Dansk Melodi Grand Prix will run its 27th edition or if we are going for an internal selection. We have received a satisfactory amount of songs from local artists, and we are hopeful we can find the right song for the 34th edition."– Danish Head of Delegation A final decision on the country's entry selection is expected to be made within the next week.
