 ANIVAR for Armenia  Just hours before the deadline, the Armenian broadcaster is ready to announce its entrant. Considering the fact this edition will be held in Russia, we will send an entry in Russian! Yes, we are talking about 24-year old Ani Vardanyan, who performs under the name ANIVAR.
She was born in  Vladikavkaz into an Armenian family and thanks to her grandmother, she started to attend music school, where she played the violin and piano. Later she learned to play the guitar. In 2014, she started to post covers on VKontakte, and in 2016 on Instagram, where she gained some popularity. She released her first song in 2017, and her NVSC entry "Tancuy" is from her latest EP album "Vysoko".

 The  Czech Republic is ready to Hunt everyone down this edition! After an intense Final round of the joint  selection Cesko Slovenska SuperStar 2, both countries have revealed their entries to the public last night. In case you've missed the excitement, you can take a look at the results here:
The Czech entry for the North Vision Song Contest 35 is...
Aiko with Hunt!Aiko (Alena Shirmanova) is a truly international artist, originating from this edition's host country  Moscow, based in  London, but raised in Czech Republic. Her multicultural experience allowed her to create a unique sound and appearance, which resonated well with the voters of the selection and earned her a win at the competition. Although not taking the lead at the Televotes, her performance convinced the juries enough to put her in the lead, becoming the overall winner of the national selection, overcoming second placed DMITRIEVNA and her song Logika by 6 points.
In an online press conference, the singer expressed her excitement about the upcoming contest and her gratitude towards everyone who supported her along the way, with a promise to give a "killer performance" on the Semi-Final stage.

Moroccan Music Festival 5 has successfully came to an end, and it has found its winner! 29 juries casted their votes and determined the final result! With no further ado, we present you the winner...
DIESE (Real name: Sarah Bachir , Arabic: ساره بشير) is a French-Moroccan singer born on 20/02/1988 (33 years old) in Paris. As a child, she spent her life both in Paris and her place of origin, Casablanca. Dièse, a.k.a. Sarah Bachir, is a talented artist. At the age of two, she began her initiation to music at the Paris Conservatory. Then, at the age of thirteen, “NRJ France” gave her the chance to experience the scene in 2003 on the Isle of Beauty in France. On 2013, at the age of 25, she took part in the french edition of "The Voice" and managed to reach the final. Dièse subsequently increased her concerts alongside many successful artists and as her career is launched, she decides to settle in Morocco. She has also admitted that both the french and the moroccan culture influenced her music.
Dièse will sing "Mathlemch (olala)" in Saint Petersburg. Through her song, she tries to send a strong message against stereotypes that want women to be inferior beings and to serve men, a fact that is very common in the Middle Eastern countries and less in the western world. As she has stated: "I think it's time for mentalities to change and for everyone to take responsibility. Women do not exist to have children and serve men. They are human beings just like men, and there is no reason why they should feel culturally or traditionally obligated not to be and do what they want!". It is a song with Gnawa and electro influences, sung in Darija (moroccan arabic) and marks one of the last entries to be presented for the 35th edition of the North Vision Song Contest.

The second edition of mahrajan al'aghnia has reached its conclusion and LBC is ready to reveal the artist and song representing Lebanon at the thirty-fourth North Vision Song Contest in Saint Petersburg.
Unlike Azure Ryder's narrow victory over Natula in the previous edition, this time the results were far more decisive, with the winning entry receiving twenty-six more points than the runner-up. Therefore, with a total of 148 points, the Lebanese representative at NVSC #35 is...
Dana Hourani
Although born in Sharjah,  United Arab Emirates, in 1986 and currently based in Dubai, Dana Hourani is Lebanese at heart. Her musical career, for which she has predominantly worked with Anthony Khoury from Lebanese band Adonis, kicked off in April 2019 with the release of her first single "Ella Enta". In addition to her musical career, Hourani is also a visual artist who has worked with magazines such as Vogue Arabia and brands such as Dior.
Participating in mahrajan al'aghnia #35 was Dana's second attempt to represent Lebanon at the North Vision Song Contest; with her song "Lahza", she placed second in A Song for Lebanon 33, losing to Pascale Machaalani. This time, however, she took home the victory (over runners-up Crys Nammour and Safar), and so we are delighted to present the official Lebanese entry for the North Vision Song Contest #35:

"Enti Ana" (إنت أنا) means you are me in Arabic, a tribute to strong women (especially in the patriarchal Arab world) and to the resilience of her home city, Beirut. Upon the release of "Enti Ana", Dana stated that her song "is for every mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. For every man who acknowledges his heroine. And most of all, for the greatest goddess of all time, this is for her - my city Beirut. I am, because she is." A fitting tribute to a city still truly marred by its past.
Lebanon's last qualification with an Arabic-language entry was Nina Abdel Malak's "Eza hajarta", nine editions ago. Will Dana be able to repeat the success of Azure Ryder in the previous edition and bring the country a second consecutive qualification? We shall see, but we wish her luck.

Lebanon’s NVSC journey made the best possible start as Nicole Saba won for the country on their debut in the fifth edition with 'Hafdal Ahlam', bringing the contest to Beirut for the sixth edition and starting a (to this day unmatched) three-edition qualification streak. The country’s results from then on were rather turbulent, including two four-edition streaks of non-qualifications, although Myriam Fares achieved Lebanon’s second best result with 'Nifsi Aoulhalak' in the fourteenth edition - second place.
A new delegation stepped in for the twenty-fourth edition, bringing Lebanon back to the final with Nelly Makdessy’s 'Kunt Atmanna' in Vienna, and achieving three top ten results for the country (with 'Call Me a Stranger', '22' and 'Dear Jealousy') before passing the baton on to the current delegation team for the thirty-fourth edition onwards, returning to the final - and to the top ten - with Azure Ryder's 'Stronger'.

Tunisia reveals their entry!
After a long internal search, the Tunisian broadcaster has just announced their entry and artist
Prior to confirming their participation 0n January 31st, 2021, the Tunisian broadcaster worked vigorously to find a suitable entry best fit to represent the country on their edition back from a one-edition absence. And now without further ado, the broadcaster is now ready to reveal who has been selected to represent Tunisia in the 35th North Vision Song Contest.

She is Yael Naim.
The official representative of Tunisia in the 35th edition of the North Vision Song Contest
A singer/songwriter born to Jewish-Tunisian parents, Yael Naïm first hit the pop-music scene in 2001, but her debut was not what she had hoped for, and it wasn't until 2007 that her follow-up appeared.
Born in Paris in 1978, Naim first got a taste for pop music when she discovered the Beatles. Adding Aretha Franklin and Joni Mitchell to her list of influences, Naïm soon found herself playing shows with Winton Marsalis' backing musicians in Tel Aviv (where she had moved at the age of four). During her obligatory military service for Israel, Naïm started her first band, the Anti-Collision, and her appearance at a charity concert in 2000 scored her a record deal with EMI. After an appearance as Miriam in a French production of The Ten Commandments, she recorded her debut album on both coasts of the United States. The album, In a Man's Womb, was a sobering affair for Yael, who considered the album a personal failure. She kept on singing to make a living, but it wasn't until she met up with David Donatien, a West Indian percussionist, in 2004 that she regained her desire to write and perform. Working as a group, Donatien and Naim came together to record Naim's second album, Yael Naïm. Released in October of 2007, the album contained songs in French, English, and Hebrew, and included a surprising cover in Britney Spears' "Toxic." Critical acclaim and chart success followed -- the album hit number 11 in France and broke the top forty in Switzerland -- and in 2008, Naim's song "New Soul" was used in a commercial for Apple's new MacBook Air computer.
In 2015, she represented Tunisia at the 14th edition of the North Vision Song Contest with her song "Dream In My Head". Performing in the 2nd semi-final, Naim came in 11th place thus not qualifying to the grand final by just 2 points. Now after a 5-year journey to find her style she returns to the competition and hopes to go farther.

Fulminacci (Filippo Uttinacci) is an Italian singer-songwriter, born in Rome on 12 September 1997.
"Canguro" (English: Kangaroo) is an intimate and incisive piece, with a unique sound that is outlined from the very beginning. Canguro speaks of our intrusive thoughts, the dark side that exists to all of us... the feeling of being a monster even though we've never hurt a fly. The beat, instead of having an impactful slap during its explosion, manages to give us an intimate and ever-looming heartbeat.
The video is directed by Lorenzo Silvestri and Andrea Santaterra and shows Fulminacci travel through this stasis of personal expression.

 DNS 32 COMES TO AN END! Oslo, Norway • 22 February 2021 After weeks of voting the 32nd edition of Den Norsken Sangen concluded. 10 acts fought for the right to represent Norway at the upcoming edition but only one made it. NRK is finally proud to officially present the next Norwegian representative:
ROYANE • "CLICK" Born Royane Harkati in Alicante in 1992, Royane shortly moved to Morocco where she attended school for her first 3 years of her life, and then moving to Norway, when she was 9 old. As Royane grew up she got a lot of attention for her makeup on social media, and gained a good amount of followers in a short amount of time. In high school Royane started dancing across the country with a dance crew from Norway.
In just a handful of years Royane went from a well-known Instagram influencer to one of the most anticipated hip-hop/R&B artists Norway has to offer internationally. With the ethnic banger "Click" she managed to win with 17-points margin from the runner-up Moyka and win the ticket to the Grand Final of North Vision Song Contest 35 in St Petersburg representing Norway.
