After being part of this great contest for 60 editions, I have decided to withdraw for now. I've enjoyed participating here a lot, I won the contest twice and discovered amazing artists & songs. But for the last couple of months I've started to lose my interest in the contest. I also have had problems with finding time to vote or watch the results. It's not easy to leave a contest that became my first online song contest I've ever participated, but I think it's good for me to leave now and not when I'm forced to leave for not voting etc. Thank you mimisthesc and ferrygraf for hosting this contest and giving me great memories for over six years or so. Anyways,  Finland is up for grabs. That's sad news, but thanks for the honesty and for telling us... in any case we thank you for your long-term participation over years, I think you've represented Finland very well and given us many great and epic entries  And you're welcome  |

 This is good.  What does its song title mean? It's hard to directly translate it, because it's only part of the sentence (1st line in a 4-line verse) and it's inflected to answer the question "To whom?". So the direct translation would be something like "(To my) Bay foal". But once you read the verse, the translation changes a bit to say that there's certain type of bridles on the back of the bay foal. It's always hard to translate folk songs directly. But I managed to find that someone has translated this song into french (no english though). Now I don't know how you are with french or how good the translation is, but I would assume that the translation at least should give a good idea of what the song is about. I will add the link to that translation to my original entry post. |

I would of course like to thank you for letting us know and it's surely preferable to leave if you really feel like you have lost your interest, which I am very sorry to hear. You have sent some really good entries and have represented  Finland in a great and very successful way. Another thing I would really like to state is how you have never received not even the slightest strike (at least as far as I can remember), which in my opinion tells a lot about you, not only as a player but as a person as well! Wishing you good luck with whatever you decide to do next and hope you keep checking out the contest at times!  |

Finland First of all, i just wanted to say thank you to linux620 for representing our nation so greatly and achieving some amazing results over the editions   No one can ever top what you have done for our country in this contest and i will never be expecting to be anywhere near taste or results-wise to how you have done  But i will promise to you that i will do my very best to keep our nation well represented I also wanted to say thank yous to the hosts of this contest ferrygraf mimisthesc for contacting me and allowing me this opportunity to see how this journey will go for me So for my debut, i decided i could give this song a go that i have been "obsessed" to quite a bit lately Have not personally seen it take part in any contest i am in so far so i am very interested on how she can do with this song It is gonna be Vesala with " Monta Nimee" for the edition 2:34+ |
