  TRIVANIA WITHDRAWS PERMANENTLY!On 17 January 2021, TTV has officially announced Trivania's termination of participation in the Fantasia Contest.REASONING The broadcaster has not published a detailed statement regarding the situation.
A TTV spokesperson commented the following:
"The team of the Trivanian broadcaster TTV has come up with the decision to permanently withdraw from the Fantasia Contest due to low viewing and voting figures and interest from the public in the contest and the lack of impact the contest has on the Trivanian music industry. We are still grateful for the whole journey and the opportunities that came along, all the great results and artists that have represented us and our culture, as well as for the great music from other countries that has come out of the contest, but unfortunately the time has come to depart. On behalf of our delegation and our entire country, we would like to thank Vaios in supporting us choose our entrants and moreover we want to congratulate the most recent winner and wish good luck to all future participants." |

 DREVONA STEPS DOWN FROM THE FANTASIA CONTEST♫ As our dear Apashe said: Still don't know if this is a Good, a Great, a Bad or a Fake news... ♫Waygo, Drevona. 2021.01.17Sadly,  DNT has to announce that the country of Drevona permanently withdraws from the Fantasia Contest. The decision was made after the general interest of the contest dramatically plummeted in the whole country.
The country began its Fantasia Contest journey in the fifteenth edition, achieving the 13th place in the semi-final. Out of 9 total appearances, Drevona qualified on 4 occasions, reaching the 16th place in the twenty-second edition.
The reason I'm withdrawing isn't that I'm salty over the NQ of Sana Sana, don't you worry about it. My interest in the recent editions reached the ground and I think the best move is giving a spot for someone who would enjoy taking part. I'm extremely thankful to 𝐴𝑑𝑟𝑖𝑎̀ for help in the last edition!  The contest delivered some bangers at my first participating editions, I'm thankful for that as well, but in my frank opinion, it's time for stepping back. Thanks for having me for a total of 10 editions. Yet another song from Sincuerello revealed
The risk we took in  Evergreen was not appreciated but we are delighted we managed not to vote ourselves out and still get 8th in semi. The song that will represent us in Taslana has been considered by the HoD for over a year now. After our 3rd non-qualification we decided to give her a chance.

U.S. Girls is a moniker used by a Sincuerellese-Ruyjinese art pop/psychedelic pop singer Meghan Remy. She's incredibly succesful in the country as her 3 most recent albums charted #1 in Sincuerello for several weeks. She was also rumoured to represent us in the contest but it had only been gossips until today. We wish her best of luck in Taslana.

WE ACCIDENTALLY TOLD YOU A LIE Following the revelation of the grand final results of the 23rd edition in Evergreen, in which Taslana emerged victorious, a surprise midnight announcement has come from Net Niolskiaj. Despite just 6 days ago confirming the return of niolstar to once again select the Niol entrant for Fantasia 24, an internally selected entrant has just been confirmed - as well as the song to go with it. So who is this elusive chanteuse set to fly the Niol flag in Taslana?

Tamzene, full name Tamzene Allison-Power, is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the small coastal region of Port Nykova, Niolskiaj. Having started learning violin and piano aged eight, at 14 she picked up guitar and began writing her own material. Her unique combination of Ximbalan and Everish heritage, as well as growing up with the sounds of the traditional Niol scene has encouraged a combination of soul, folk, R&B and reggae influences from an early age.
"As soon as we heard the song Tamzene submitted, we knew we were onto something incredibly special," a spokesperson for NN said in the announcement, "It resonated with all of us and we knew right away that we had to get to work on refining the product, we are incredibly proud of the work that has been done."
The song is called "Accidentally Told You", and you can listen to it below. "It's an incredible honour to have even been considered to represent my home country in such a fantastic contest," Tamzene said in an additional statement, "Some of my biggest musical influences have participated in the past so to be part of it is wild, it's been such an incredible process."
"This is a true isolation song, written about a genuine slip-of-the-tongue," she said when explaining the song, "I make a lot of home demos, but this one felt special somehow, like this is how it's supposed to be and how it should be shared. I wanted to write a classic song that didn't try too hard to be anything anthemic, just a gesture to a moment."
"I managed to dust off my violin for this particular song, rediscovering my love for the first instrument I learned how to play! I like to think that some of the most precious and meaningful things can be born from periods of hardship and challenge [the year long Niol brownie drought brought about by Pink Pony Club's non-qualification], so I hope to spread a little bit of that love and light with this song."
Tamzene will be hoping to bring Niolskiaj back to the final and back to the glory days of past editions which have seen Niolskiaj win the contest twice - first in edition 13 with "Circles out of Salt" by Snow Ghosts, then again in edition 17 with Bring Me The Horizon and Grimes' "Nihilist Blues". In recent times, while Niol entries have been commercially successful, the nation has made the final once in the last four editions, leading to scepticism surrounding the delegation team's selection methods. Internally selected entries representing Niolskiaj have famously done poorly, with the best result being a 21st place finish from Soho Rezanejad's "Love's a Raging Prey" in the 19th edition.
