FYOR CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION Fyor will participate in the 24th edition of the Fantasia Contest in  Taslana, despite another non qualification the country will keep trying until they qualify. The delegation stated that while they were disappointed that the result was slightly worse than last time, and that "Consistent" did not have the same massive local success that "Teenage Blue" did, they were proud of No/Me for representing Fyor well. The entry was planned to have been announced early with the intention of Fyor confirming on the day the confirmations opened, but due to delays this has not happened so the entry can be expected to be revealed in the coming weeks and will be selected internally. There have been no proposed plans for a national selection but if the popularity of the contest increases then it could be a possibility. Stay tuned!

LAKADAMIA CONFIRMS.
Following the 9th place in the 2nd Semi-Final and yet another close qualification for the Federation (2 Points separated Lakadamia from the final), but with still the motivation to be present in the contest, a withdrawal is not rumored in the near future.
The delegation has just confirmed that for now, the method of selection hasn't been decided yet, leaving it open for the return of a national selection. Singers & Songwriters are invited to send their entries to the TRLK.
More details is expected to come by the end of the month.

 Achróa confirms and announces entryTrangueli • 18 January
After a very respectable 9th place after a string of borderline non-qualifications, STA is glad to announce that they will be present in the 24th Fantasia Contest and have already selected an entry which will be revealed right now!
The previous entry, Supersoaker, was undeniably a huge departure in Achróa's sound with its electronic, trap-influenced beat. However, that sound was welcomed by the Fantasian juries and public, who gave Achróa their 8th top-10 result. The next entry keeps the electronic influence, but uses it in a much different way as a means of defining an atmosphere in lieu of a melody. It's safe to say that although Achróa is continuing their experimentation with its sound, it is ready to find a fusion with its alternative foundations.

Julie Byrne (born 1990) is an Achróan singer-songwriter born, raised and living in Pòr d'Amidét, on Achróa's "second" island of Amidét. She learned the guitar from her father who had begun teaching her how to play fingerstyle from a very young age. After he could no longer play due to health issues, she carried on his legacy by continuing to learn the instrument herself.Byrne has released two studio albums: Rooms with Walls and Windows in 2014, which put her onto the underground radars in Achróa and Not Even Happiness in 2017, which was a massive success in Achróa and achieved hype from various indie communities around Fantasia. Recently, she has worked with fellow Amidét native Jefre Cantu-Ledesma, who is a multi-instrumentalist specialising in ambient and drone music. He was worked in various bands, and although he has not earned major success in Achróa, he is widely respected in the inner musicians' circle.Love's Refrain is a standalone single released in 2020, with Julie's vocals mixed into Cantu-Ledesma's namesake track from his 2016 EP In Summer. An exemplar work of hypnagogic pop, it fuses elements of ambient, drone, noise pop and shoegaze, culminating in what could very well be Achróa's noisiest and loudest entry they have ever sent - if not second to Butcher of the World. Poetic, dreamy and hypnotic, it is bound to leave some form of impression on its listener.

After another non-qualification from Wedse, placing 13th in the semi. The Wedsen entry for Fantasia Contest #24 aims to reach the final for the first time since edition 20.

ABIR
From Orgil, singer/songwriter Abir buffers her joyful dance-pop with a strong, soulful voice, and has successfully charged at #1 in Wedse 4 times. She is said to be the biggest star on the rise within Wedse at this moment in time.WTV stated that they are super satisfied that Abir has decided to take this opportunity to represent Wedse at Fantasia Contest #24, and hope that they will achieve a good result after perishing in the semi-final for the past 3 editions.

There are several players who don't want to participate in the contest but take part in roleplay events. So if you want to participate in the contest again, you have to wait until the applications for that open (you'll receive a PM from one council member). By the way, everything is explained in the rulebook too.  |
