Loutreniye Announces FC24 Song
After countless amounts of rumours and suspicions, we at SLZL are finally ready to announce the representatives for Loutreniye in Taslana: Merina Gris!
For the first time, the nation is selecting an artist from the Euskaran minority with a song not in Everish: "Besteek Zer". Hailing from the seaside town of Çéllefetço in Gipùssoka commune, on the country's furthest east island, they are determined to show not only the country, but also the whole of Fantasia their exciting sound.
The song is being seen as a risk for a country with a 100% qualification rate so far, but according to Prollànce Vélitç of SLZL, that's exactly their intention, with her saying at a press conference held shortly after the confirmation,
"We realised that we weren't using the opportunity of such a worldwide audience to present ourselves and all aspects of our culture in the best possible way, as well getting good results, and with this song we hope to try to rectify that."

DESTINATION FANTASIA IS BACK, WE DON'T CARE! After the last two entrants from Sirenforest placing last in their semis, Sirenforest Television received a visitor from a local hospital chain. The worker suggested that the country should do another national final. As the director of SFTV was about to say no, Fantasia icon Rebecca Mader told the worker "We'll do it, I promise!"
The damage was done. Sirenforest had to do a national final for their return to the contest. But how should the format go?

Destination Fantasia, the national final to select the #21 entry, will be back. Six newcomers/previous Sirenforestian national final participants will be against six artists who are veterans of the contest.

FTV commits towards revamping its selection for Taslana! Last edition, Freyhurst achieved a new low, finishing last in a field of 50 countries. Despite that, FTV pledged to continue participating and switch up its open internal selection process for Taslana, which Freyhurst marked the only country to give maximum points to last edition. Additionally, to reach higher audiences, a bigger emphasis was therefore given to professional musicians across Fantasia in selecting the entry.
This process resulted in the selection of an entry which will be revealed later.

  Lanovina CONFIRMS!

After Sara Parkman's amazing 3rd place, Lanovina's broadcaster LTR has confirmed another participation of the country. The entry has already been selected internally and is automatically qualified for the final in Taslana. It was also revealed, that, for the first time, a previous participant will return to represent the country.
