 GHANA CONFIRMS
Despite a bottom 2 place in the non-neighboring nation of  Mauritius,  Ghana decided to take part in the non-neighboring  Madagascar.
Our next singer will most likely be someone living abroad. However, sending a native in the near future was not ruled out as we have someone interested to represent us.
The entry will be selected internally and revealed in due time. |

 São Tomé and Príncipe confirms!!!
The delegation of Sao Tome and Principe is very happy and satisfied with the final result of Chong Kwong. For this edition, Sao Tome and Principe will choose for the first time their representative with a national final. The interest of the people of Sao Tome and Principe has grown to the top and a total of 123 songs have been submitted from which 12. The criteria for selecting the songs were based on songs with elements of Sao Tome and Principe which will have different sounds which the country is used to sending. All the artists were born and lived in Sao Tome and Principe and will compete in two semifinals where the former will start today. Finally, I would like to add that many of the participants in the national selection are known in the country and some of the songs that you may not like, because you are not used to such songs, but I think Sao Tome and Principe should send a song that advertises more the musical sounds of the country, which makes it a risk in terms of qualification!  Burkina Faso confirms!After an amazing placing from Emy and the song ‘Inconvenient’, Burkina Faso officially confirms for the 7th edition of Own Africavision Song Contest, in Madagascar!
Unfortunately, the highly anticipated B series 2 is not happening this edition. This comes about due to RTB selecting their entry Internally this edition. However, RTB have teased the two artists in contention of repressing Burkina Faso in the next Own Africavision Song Contest, in Madagascar !
There are rumours that the iconic Queen of Africa Hawa Boussim has submitted a song for the third time. Despite this, RTB says competition this time round has been at its highest ever, due to the unexpected success of Emy , placing 13th in the grand final. The artist (s) and their song will be announced in the weeks to come, stay tuned !
