   SXTN, was a German hip hop duo from  Berlin consisting of rappers Juju and Nura. They are known for their somewhat-mockingly provocative lyrics, that often play on stereotypical rap themes such as sex, weed-smoking, money and party lifestyles.
Judith Wessendorf (Juju) is a German rapper of Moroccan descents while Nura Habib Omer (Nura) was born in Kuwait City as the daughter of a Saudi father and an Eritrean mother. Nura is an Eritrean citizen as well. Her mother was married to her father in Saudi Arabia at the age of 15. At the age of three, Nura came with her mother and three siblings as a refugee from Saudi Arabia to Germany, where she first lived in Oberhausen and Wuppertal.
Despite the disbandment of the duo in 2018, Juju and Nura will make a special reunion once again after they did it once for Morocco in the second edition. Broadcaster MBC confirms Mauritius' participation in the 7th Own Africavision Song Contest scheduled to be held in their closest neighbor country Nigeria  Madagascar. After an 11th place finish in home soil (the best result of any host country thus far), the delegation is eager to continue their participation. The entry will be selected internally as usual. |
