KUWIANG CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION!
Tha Sida, 9 December 2021 - The Kuwianish broadcaster, Kuwiang Broadcasting Service (KBS) has confirmed Kuwiang's participation in the Fantasia Contest that will be held in Glacea despite another non-qualification.
For the upcoming edition, KBS has opted for internal selection once again due to a lack of funding and tight schedules. Furthermore, the broadcaster has already chosen the act to represent the country in the Tritonian archipelago. In addition to the announcement, the Kuwianish head of delegation stated that the national selection could be organized soon, especially if the country's results continue to deteriorate. The HoD did not reveal much information about the artist other than hinting that they will be the least popular act Kuwiang has ever selected so far.

 Scandavia confirms! Scandavia to continue in the Fantasia Contest
After another disappointing result for the country, SKRF has confirmed that Scandavia will continue participating at the contest putting in more effort to achieve a qualification. A national selection of six songs will take place. The broadcaster has invited all singers and songwriters in the country to join for bringing back Scandavia's qualification era, especially encouraging newcomers to take part in the selection. |

 THE FLOP ERA IS DEADNEOCASTRIA IS BACK FOR #27
It has been months since we last saw ourselves on Fantasia's biggest stage. After a disappointing result in Fantasia #25, in which synthpop sensation LAUREL narrowly missed out on a spot in the Grand Final, domestic critics have thrashed ADN's current approach to the contest.
With declining ratings, and therefore a declining budget, director of programming at ADN and head of delegation since edition #23, Eliette Wanterthour, decided to resign from her position, causing quite the hassle to reorganize a coherent delegation. Therefore, despite initially confirming for edition #26 in the Ruyjin Republic, Neocastria had to withdraw last minute. The last edition of the contest had only been broadcasted on ADN's online streaming service.
However, the silver lining of this heartbeaking decision was that it also was a golden opportunity for ADN to rethink its approach to the Fantasia Contest, and figure out what went wrong for the once-promising country.
A conclusion was reached by the supervising board of the broadcaster; NQing entries like "Somebody" ( #23) and "Wild Side" ( #25) have been, despite stellar live interpretations from their respective singers, overall very safe and not as memorable as earlier entries. It was crystal clear: Neocastria had to dare again.
Moreover, what was also noted was the absence of Lakophone songs ever since "Karaté" ( #22). Neocastria's method of selection in that era was to put entire confidence on either young, homegrown talents, or confirmed artists, and it arguably paid off with one victory and one top 10 finish.
Ultimately, a decision has been taken: Neocastria will return to the 27th edition of the Fantasia Contest hosted in Glacea, and we are very happy to announce that the delegation has, after an open call, received a lot of promising proposals from a large number of homegrown talents. And we have made a decision...
MEET KALIKA
Mia Rosello, also known by her stage name KALIKA, is one of the most out-of-the-box artists of the current Neocastrian pop scene. The 22-year-old singer-songwriter from Vého-sur-Solon, in southern Neocastria, had her breakthrough when she took part in the 7th season of Nouvelle Star Néocastrie, local version of the Pop Idol franchise, in 2016. Since then, she has grown to develop her own musical and visual universe, which music critics have described as "brute" or "wild". Placing her music at the crossroads of electropop, rock, post-punk and Lakophone chanson, her vivacious and brutally honest style of songwriting has been lauded and does not leave anyone indifferent.
In her Fantasia Contest #27 entry, "L'été est mort" (lak. Summer is dead), she revisits the classic trope of break-up songs to her personal sauce, and tells us her struggle to deal with an ex-lover, Hector, who refuses to acknowledge that their relationship is long over.

Sincuerello confirms and reveals
We are actually surprised and satisfied with our third 8th place in semi as we didn't aim any high when sending Siouxsie & The Banshees. Our approach this edition is same as last time - no hopes of scoring high but still very glad to have a chance to send such a talented artist.

Perfume Genius
Perfume Genius is an alias used by Mike Hadreas, a sincuerellese-julianoise-achróan art pop musician. Throughout his 13 years old career he has released 5 studio albums, each one being more praised than the previous one. Hadreas's music explores topics including sexuality, his personal struggle with Crohn's disease, domestic abuse, and the dangers faced by gay men in contemporary society. The song Mike will perform in Glacea is a 2nd single to his latest album, Set My Heart On Fire Immediately, the country's most anticipated release of last year. The song portrays a sort of emotional withdrawal, using concepts like getting the shakes, and promising that the next day will be different, as you wait for the addiction to this other person to hopefully one day pass.

After a very successful 3rd place for the country, following the success of Ado, Noi decided to internally select and artist which they believe fits the best as what nineliese music scene is and someone who they believe was a candidate to represent this country since it's return to the contest in 14th edition but never got an official call for the contest until now. With the automatic qualification in the final, in Glacea we will show more the cultural side of Ninelie that we hid from you all this time and go with the risk. So without futher delays....

AIMER
Born in Viano, Ninelie into a Hydean, Aimer (エメ Eme, [eme]) is a Nineliese singer and lyricist of Hydean Ethnicity signed to Universal Music Ninelie and managed by Hiroyuki Sawano. Her name comes from the verb "Aimer" in  Lakadamian which means "to love".
She started doing music very early in her life at the age of 9 when she started playing the guitar and writing songs in Everish. She had her education in a Music Academy in Viano. She was known for her powerful voice and interesting vocal technique. Unfortunately her talent was decreased at the age of 15 when she lost her voice due to over-usage of her vocal chords and was forced to undergo silence therapy for treatment. However, that did not stop her, and after she recovered, she acquired her distinctive husky voice. Her talent was recognized when she got an invitation to enroll in the Academy of Music and Art in Verno known as the most prestigious Academy in the country.
In 2011, she won the Ninelie got Talent and was signed to Universal Music Ninelie. Her of copy of Lady Gaga's Poker Face hit #1 on Nineliese charts. After Ninelie got Talent, she met Hiroyuki Sawano and started working as his main vocalist. She started working as an Anime singer. She released music for successful Anime shows like Bleach, Fate Series, Terror in Resonance, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress etc.
Today she is known as one of the most acclaimed and successful acts of nineliese-hydean music scene. She is renowned for all her contributions in filmography, as well as creating a mix between nineliese and hydean musical style that keeps on being appreciated throughout the continuum of her career.
As for the song, there are 2-3 songs that are being in the talks for the release and final entry will be revealed in a short time. Noi wanna believe that having a free ticket to the final means showcasing the full potential of our culture without bounderies of a bad result, which we are going for this edition! We feel no matter the result, Ninelie is gonna show the all sides of Ninelie we haven't shown before with this entry! Stay Tuned

Niolskiaj confirms! Net Niolskiaj is excited to confirm that Niolskiaj will continue its participation in the Fantasia Contest for the 27th edition, set to be held in Glacea. This comes after a successful 26th edition for the country, with a 14th place finish in the final with Allison Ponthier's "Cowboy" which has proven to be a huge national hit, as well as bringing Niolskiaj its first qualification streak since edition 19.
"We are hungry for more success now," a spokesperson for NN said this morning in the confirmation statement, "We've seen a resurgence in popularity for the Fantasia Contest and it remains a huge hitmaker both here and worldwide, and we're excited to see what the future could potentially bring for us. As such, we are once again investing in a national selection - niolstar is back and we have ten incredible artists and songs lined up."
niolstar will see a slightly revamped voting system - with international juries being invited to rank the songs from 1st to last as well as the usual televote. The two votes will be combined 50/50 to find the overall winner and Niol representative.
"It's all about trying new things and keeping it fresh," the statement continued, "Trust and believe we will not be relying on old tricks that may have worked in editions of the past. Below you can see previews of the ten artists set to fight to represent Niolskiaj. We are excited for the selection to commence!"
