After several meeting in the headquarters Armenian broadcaster AMPTV has decided to stay away from NVSC 38. They haven't specified the reasons, but our sources claim AMPTV has a lot of unpaid debts. A return in 39th edition is not excluded.

 Lebanon is in for NVSC #38!
Fresh from Venus Bleeds bringing  Lebanon back to the North Vision grand final, finishing in twelfth place overall in  Stockholm with "Revelation", LBC has confirmed its continued presence at the upcoming thirty-eighth North Vision Song Contest, which will be held in the  United Kingdom.
« We are thrilled to have been able to see Venus' "Revelation" appreciated by the voting public, and after a small slip-up in Bologna, resulting in an unplanned stop at the Pre-Qualification Round, we hope to have found our way back to the right North Vision approach. The hype resulting from Venus' seventh place in the betting odds led to the highest viewing figures for the final in five editions, and we hope to continue building on this interest as we look to the thirty-eighth edition in the UK. »
After two editions of selecting its entry internally, to varying degrees of success, LBC has confirmed that mahrajan al'aghnia, the selection format which brought both Azure Ryder and Dana Hourani to the NVSC grand final, will be held to select Lebanon's entry for the thirty-eighth edition.
However, the return will not be without change: the number of competing entries has increased from six to eight songs. A change in the voting system is also being considered, with the possibility of a 50/50 international jury/televote split being used, although this is to be confirmed. Furthermore, whereas the previous editions of mahrajan al'aghnia were held haphazardly at the last minute due to financial and organisational uncertainties, it is hoped that the festival will be better organised from now on too.
« We're excited to be able to bring back mahrajan al'aghnia and will be putting all our available resources into the competition in spite of the time pressure we face. Having observed the successes of numerous other countries’ selection processes, we hope to be able to emulate the high levels of musical diversity and quality that we've come to expect from these countries. »
The eight entries for mahrajan al'aghnia are already in the process of being chosen by LBC. Although the broadcaster is keeping fairly hush at the moment with regards to the competing artists, its Head of Delegation said during a TV interview that the provisional lineup includes songs from ‘hundreds of views all the way up to several million’, in three languages and a range of genres, from artists based both in Lebanon and abroad.
Lebanon's NVSC journey made the best possible start as Nicole Saba won for the country on their debut in the fifth edition with 'Hafdal Ahlam', bringing the contest to Beirut for the sixth edition and starting a (to this day unmatched) three-edition qualification streak. The country's results from then on were rather turbulent, including two four-edition streaks of non-qualifications, although Myriam Fares achieved Lebanon's second best result with 'Nifsi Aoulhalak' in the fourteenth edition: second place.
A new delegation stepped in for the twenty-fourth edition, bringing Lebanon back to the final with Nelly Makdessy's 'Kunt Atmanna' in Vienna, and achieving three top ten results for the country (with 'Call Me a Stranger', '22' and 'Dear Jealousy') before passing the baton on to the current delegation team for the thirty-fourth edition onwards, returning to the final – and to the top ten – with Azure Ryder's 'Stronger'.

 Slovenia will abstain for another edition of the Northvision Song Contest
as the current Head of Delegation steps down from their position
RTVSLO revealed this afternoon that Slovenia will remain absent for another edition in the coming Northvision Song Contest.
Another piece of news that they revealed is that the current Head of Delegation will be stepping down from their position after the conclusion of this edition.
 Much fun have been had while working with the team for the Northvision Song Contest,
and I'm glad that I've gotten the opportunity to show the rest of the world what Slovenia can bring within the music world.
However, I believe that my time as the Head of Delegation has come to an end, and for me to reach greater heights with newer projects in the future.

ok, so as the text says, I will be taking my farewell for the Northvision Song Contest, not just as Slovenia, but also as a player. I've noticed that my interest for NVSC has kind of declined as of late, and idk if it will be going any higher in the future. I figured about maybe sending in one last entry just for good measure, but I also figured it would just be a waste of time instead of just giving someone else the opportunity to take part in something as big as this, so I think this edition is my time to leave. I had a great time since all editions that I've been part of here, and I'll cherish all the memories that have happened, especially my victory that occurred with  Albania in #19 with Ronela Hajati's "A do si kjo". It will never leave my mind  In either case, I'll still watch over NVSC as a spectator just to see how everything is holding up now and then. In the mean time, I hope the next player will have just as much fun as I've had, and again, I thank you all for the wonderful time I've spent as a player with you all. Take care

 The  Czech Republic will compete in North Vision Song Contest #38! The country has scored a marvellous 8th place last edition, courtesy of the stunning duo of  FVLCRVM and Annet X, who have managed to reach the second place in the jury voting, and thus made the whole country immensely proud. Shortly after the revelation of the Final results, the capital Prague has erupted in joy with several clubs hosting NorthVision-related parties in the night.
Despite this overwhelming success, the country has remained silent regarding its plans for the 38th edition up until today's press conference, in which Head of Delegation Julius Horváth commenced his speech by congratulating our golden duo for their fantastic result, as well as showing gratitude to the international fan community that has provided a wonderful reaction to the song, with many tipping it as a Top 6 finisher or even a dark horse to contend for the victory. He has confirmed that due to the great result, there is absolutely no need to change the procedure of the song and artist selection from the previous edition, meaning that the formerly secured partnerships with the 3 major Czech companies as well as the selected record label will continue in hopes of a continuation of this successful formula. This also means that the Czech entry will be selected internally, with the help of the newly appointed focus group consisting of representatives of the record label, the HoD, and several other music stars and experts from the country. The announcement of the song representing the country is expected in the coming days, so make sure to keep an eye on all social platforms of NVSC!
Finally, the Czech team would like to wish all competing nations the best of luck and we hope to hear a lot of briliant songs in this edition as well!
