Brussels, 19 June 2022
The Belgian national broadcasters, RTBF & VRT have confirmed Belgium's participation at the forthcoming thirty-ninth edition of the North Vision Song Contest. While the offıcial method of selecting Grace's successor hasn’t been confirmed yet, it is more likely that the country will stick to the same format used in the previous edition and will choose their entry through an internal selection. In addition, according to the public broadcasters, the representative for the thirty-ninth edition, might be chosen by a selection committee composed of directors of music stations and composers with professional expertise in song selection from all over Europe. The last time Belgium qualified to the final was two editions ago, in Bologna, where Rori ended up in nineteenth place in the grand final. Last edition in Leeds, the country narrowly missed out on a place in the Grand Final, placing in eleventh in semi-final two with 141 points, just 8 points behind San Marino's Mara Sattei in tenth.
More information and details regarding the Belgian entry are expected to be released in due course.

 NORWAY CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION! Oslo, Norway • 19 June 2022 NRK announced in a press conference this morning that  Norway will take part in the next Northvision edition. The country will be back to the semi-finals and Den Norsken Sangen will be hosted once again to determine the Norwegian entry. |

 The  Czech Republic will compete in North Vision Song Contest #39! The country has managed to secure a third consecutive qualification for the Grand Final in the 38th edition, with The Silver Spoons & Ulysses Wells earning a very respectable 17th place in the Final.
Despite this success, the country has remained silent regarding its plans for the 39th edition up until today's press conference, in which Head of Delegation Julius Horváth has confirmed that due to the continous great results, there is no need to change the procedure of the song and artist selection from the previous edition, meaning that the formerly secured partnerships with the 3 major Czech companies as well as the selected record label will continue in hopes of a continuation of this successful formula. This also means that the Czech entry will be selected internally, with the help of the appointed focus group consisting of representatives of the record label, the HoD, and several other music stars and experts from the country.
Finally, the Czech team would like to wish all competing nations the best of luck and we hope to hear a lot of briliant songs in this edition as well!

TV2 has revealed that the nation won't return for this edition QUICK UPDATE!!! In the last minute the broadcaster and the Head of the Delegation talked with someone in secret. A sudden shift happened in the office of the delegation. After having little to no responses about the contest. Suddenly the HoD changed his mind and is now in talkings with choosing an artist and a song internally. Therefore, Hungary returns. |

Denmark confirms participation – selection method revealed Copenhagen, Denmark • 19 June 2022
 DR has finally confirmed the country's participation for the upcoming 39th edition of the competition. Despite rumors hinting that Denmark might be taking a break from the competition, the Head of Delegation has stated that the country has no plans for a withdrawal in the near future. It was also announced that Dansk Melodi Grand Prix will not be making its return for this edition either. Instead, the Danish entry will be selected internally once again. |
