 Finland confirms participation!
Finland will compete in the jubilee edition of the North Vision Song Contest. This was confirmed today in a press release by YLE. Pohjoisviisut will be once again used as a selection method. This time, Pohjoisviisut will be a one-night event with 10 entries competing for victory and the right to represent  Finland in  Greece. More information will be released later this month. |

We flopped but that’s not a reason to give up. Romania officially confirms its presence in the jubilee 40th edition of the North Vision Song Contest. A national selection will most likely be used to find the next entry. The broadcaster opened the confirmations for interested singers and songwriters but also for suggestions from other delegations. Stay tuned for further announcements. |

 The Faroe Islands confirm! In a press conference earlier today, the broadcaster for the Faroe Islands, KVF, announced that the country would be present at the upcoming North Vision Song Contest in Greece. In light of the 40th birthday of the contest, the broadcaster is planning to hold a bigger national selection than usual. "We are talking about at least 10 songs", the head of delegation stated at the press conference. |

 | Lietuva is going to be The Serve of the 40th edition!

Following another appearance in the grand final of the North Vision Song Contest, it was decided that the Baltic country will once again participate in the jubilee edition of the North Vision Song Contest, held in Greece. Although there were many speculations that the LRT would refuse to participate this time due to budget constraints, after receiving enough funding the Baltic country appeared in the list of participants. Once again, the participant will be chosen using the national selection Lietuvos Garsai 4.

Lithuania will be The Cuntie of this edition! Following the success of the Balkan countries in the contest, the organizational team of Lietuvos Garsai 4 has decided to host the national selection in none other than  Zagreb! Planes from Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga will flood the Croatian capital with the fans of Lietuvos Garsai and serve a high quality of bangers for the Balkans and rest of Europe. As for the host, the LRT decided to choose a true SCF icon: she has made the SCF community spam her picture on all of Discord channels, fans have went crazy for her; the presenter of various LRT shows: Ugnė Galadauskaitė! While leaving the premises of LRT, Ugnė Galadauskaitė was being chased by journalists and fans of Lietuvos Garsai, who were begging her to spill some of the details of the upcoming edition. Without mentioning something too specific, Ugnė mentioned that the next edition of Lietuvos Garsai will have artists who: - Became popular in the country because of her breast augmentation surgery; - An artist who has already participated twice in Lietuvos Garsai; - An artist who has already participated twice in the North Vision Song Contest; - A singer who is singing about her husband who is in jail because of money laundering and she wonders what he is doing at 5:30 AM; - First ever (partially)  Hebrew song in Lietuvos Garsai; - A song about Nida, the settlement that was mentioned in the best song of 2022 - Sentimentai.  Algeria confirms Ysa Ferrer put on her best effort opening the 39th edition by performing 1st in the 1st semifinal in  Andorra, impressing the televoters who ranked her 7th, but alas, she did not manage to equally convince enough professional jurors, who ranked her pre-last and ultimately denied her the possibility to perform in the grand final, confining her in the 11th place barely 3 points behind one of the 10 golden spots.
Nonetheless, a press conference held earlier today at ENTV headquarters in Algers confirmed that there were no withdrawal plans and that the nation will gladly take part in the jubilee 40th edition, held in Greece, who won the previous edition, while also being the favourite of Algerian professional jurors.
While the selection method has not yet been officially confirmed, the Head of Delegation responded to jounralists by stating that a national selection was 'likely', contrary to the internal method by which Ysa was selected last time.
Algerian fans reacted positively to this statement, with 78% of respondents reacting "positively" or "very positively" to the question "How do you viwe a potential national selection for Algeria in the 40th edition?" in OGAN Algeria's official website.
The broadcaster is working both with record labels and individual artists, whether they reside in Algeria or form part of its diaspora, while interested artists are also allowed to express their interest in representing the nation by applying in the form openned by ENTV in its official website.

RTL can confirm  Luxembourg will participate in the upcoming PQR, hoping not to miss a chance in participating in the jubilee edition. Despite having earlier plans to host a national selection to honour the contest's anniversary, the broadcaster decided to reconsider as a result of the obstacle ahead. A final decision will be made in due course. |

 Serbia confirms participation in North Vision Song Contest #40
After securing two AQ spots in three edition, there was no doubt within RTS that  Serbia would participate in North Vision Song Contest #40.
Another edition of BMGP will be held. The format has not been finalised but the poll system is likely to return.
Suggestions are more than welcome. Even though most of them are songs we would have found anyway, it still has a huge influence on who gets in.
And Serbia will not be participating in the PQR next edition. So take that.

San Marino confirms participation for NVSC 40!
San Marino RTV will be there in the next edition
After two consecutive qualifiers at the final show,
and two positive results for  San Marino,
the country has no plans to withdraw from the competition.
HoD: "San Marino will not miss the NVSC 40 in Greece
because the 40th edition is being celebrated,
a great party involving the associated members, in which San Marino will be able
to bring its music and fight to the end for a place in the final".
"We are already working on the next edition,
we never stop and the artists are interested in representing us at the NVSC.
Trust and professionalism are a strength for our small broadcaster".
Most likely we will go on with our national selection "Festival dei Castelli"
which is now the trademark of our country.
