  Zagreb, 5th January: The HRT, Hrvatska radiotelevizija, has confirmed that  Croatia will be participating in the jubilee 40th edition of the North Vision Song Contest. Despite a rather disappointing non-qualification last edition with Albina, we are still happy that we were close to qualifying. The success of several Balkan countries last edition, including an all Balkan top three, has inspired us to continue sending local talent and aim for the top. We are more than ready to give Croatia their best result ever.
We can also confirm that Dora is returning for its second edition, with more entries competing this time around.

 SHALOM NORTHVISION! This morning, KAN confirmed the Israeli participation in the 40th edition of the Northvision Song Contest, held in the  Greece. The head of delegation Maxim Raevsky added:
"Even though we didn't qualify for the first time with the current delegation, we won't let it take us down. We hope we can enter the Top 10 in the near future!"
Once again, the Israeli entry will be chosen through the national selection show Israelifest. This 6th edition is titled "Shir Le'Yavan".
With some small changes in the format, reducing the amount of songs from 18 to 16 and removal of the SC round, and stay tuned for more!
Newcomers and established singers from Israel and beyond are invited to submit their potential entries via www.kan.org.il/northvision

Despite a disappointing result last edition with the semi final elimination of Phoenix, Monaco has confirmed that they will participate in the 40th anniversary edition of NVSC! Following the disappointing result the broadcaster has evaluated its song selection process and as a result the upcoming entry will be chosen by a National Selection! More news about the details will be revealed soon, although local media rumours say that the national broadcaster will return to the Grand Prix de Monaco as the national final.

TÜRKIYE WILL TAKE PART IN NVSC#40 FINAL!
Türkiye will take part in the next North Vision Song Contest. This will mark their 38th participation in the competition. The country will be automatically qualified in the Grand Final since it succeeded in reaching the final Top 6 in the last edition thanks to the excellent 4th place achieved by Güneş with her song "NKBİ".
The method of selection has still to be officially announced.

 FAROESE NATIONAL SELECTION DETAILS REVEALED As previously announced, the Faroe Islands will host their first national selection with more than 10 songs.
In fact, 21 songs by different artists across all genders, national borders and genres will be competing in Føroyskur Festivalur
to represent the nordic nation in the jubilee edition of NVSC!
Familiar faces to North Vision fans will be returning aswell as debut entrants, who have never before tried to represent the Faroe Islands.

In addition, two songs from each semi-final will go to the second chance round, from which 3 additional entries will make it to the Grand Final.
Sadly, two songs will be eliminated from each semi-final.
