France in the North Vision Song Contest
Since its inaugural edition, France has been an active participant in the North Vision Song Contest, joining a total of 36 times. Over the years, they have achieved notable success, qualifying on 24 occasions. Throughout their numerous appearances, France has secured a commendable second place on four occasions, which remains their highest achievement. The talented artists Leslie, Marie-Mai, Dania Giò, and Kendji Girac contributed to this accomplishment. In the 34th edition, a new Head of Delegation, renowned for an impressive track record in securing qualifications, took charge. This streak of successful qualifications remains unbroken. After an exciting and long national selection, the small European country has found the next representative for a new edition of the Northvision Song Contest. The "Festival dei Castelli 19" is won by Annalisa, she will fly to Portugal to represent San Marino.
 Annalisa aka Annalisa Scarrone is a 38-year-old Italian singer born in Savona, she is singer-songwriter, record producer and TV personality. Her music genre is a mix of pop and electropop. On November 8th, the girl was announced as the next Sammarinese representative in the continent-wide European music competition Northvision Song Contest. In Lisbon, the big singer will present the country with her song “Ragazza Sola”. Annalisa has already represented the microstate, in the 5th edition of the NVSC, and therefore returns to San Marino after 37 editions.
Annalisa was declared the winner of the national selection for the next Sammarinese representative for the contest. She won against other 9 artists (Papiro, Ethan, Kawakami, Kaze, Mida, Nahaze, Valentina Ploy, Angelina Mango and Melisa & Korbe).

The next edition of PNV has come to an end, so it is time to announce Ukraine's entry to the North Vision Song Contest hosted in Lisbon, Portugal! Give it up for... TUCHA!
 Maria Tuchka, the mind behind TUCHA (ТУЧА), is combining dark electro-pop and EBM as well as Ukrainian and English lyrics. The Kyiv producer, singer and art director has played big festivals, won awards and received press accolades for her "Toxic" EP and artistic videos. As she writes about herself: future pop icon, current slay icon. PERIOD.
"Sleyerka" (ukr. "СЛЕЄРКА") is first and foremost about rights, especially now, during a full scale invasion. In the music video the artist is surrounded by members of the LGBT community and metaphorically breaks the "wall" of patriarchy and prejudice against people of non-heterosexual orientation.
In our war, both heterosexual people and representatives of LGBTQ+ are fighting, who choose freedom of life for us at the cost of their own lives. The first have the right to a partnership and the opportunity to transfer their savings to their loved ones, while the others do not. And it's not just unfair, it's absurd

 KOSOVO HAS CHOSEN
Born into a Kosovar Albanian family in Nurenmber, Germany,   Dhurata Murturi, more commonly known as Dhurata Dora, started her career in Kosovo and soon rose to fame in Kosovo and Albania, eventually becoming well-known internationally as well, reaching the charts of several European countries including France and Switzerland.
She will be accompanied by Elvana Gjata. No newcomer to the competition, the Tirana-born singer represented her native Albania twice in the 7th and 14th editions, failing to reach the final both times.
Internally selected, they will be performing their Albanian-language hit "Gajde" in Lisbon, hoping to secure one of the 26 precious spots in the Grand Final. Will they be successful?

Azerbaijan reveals entry for Portugal
It was announced by AzTV today that Mehin has been selected to represent Azerbaijan at the North Vision Song Contest 42 with the song “Sən Yoxsan” (You are gone).
About the artist and song:
Mehin Humbetova is a singer from Azerbaijan who is best known for being a finalist of the television musical project Xalq Ulduzu (People's Star). After her participation in the contest, she left the stage to focus on her professional career as a presenter and actress, but has returned to the music scene a few years ago under the stage name Mehin. “Sən Yoxsan” is a contemporary ballad penned by Rza Mammadli (RZZA) which illustrates a love story that the artist avoids and at the same time desires. The official music video for the song was directed by Azer Jafar and filmed on the agate mountains of Khizi.
