Prelim Grades
In January/February, many Scottish schools sit prelims (mock exams etc..) to prepare us for the final SQA exams in May and also to see how we're getting on in general. If you get over 40%, you continue to sit the course and complete the final exam. If not, you simply get dropped from the exam list.
subject | predicted | actual
Biology | C | B Chemistry | B | B English | B | B Maths | B | B Music | A | A
Overall, I'm really pleased with these I'm at a better stage than I was last year, where I had more to worry about (especially about Chemistry, where last year I had a D...
...at the same time last year whereas I now have a high B) and I basically need to study more in general, I guess. My aim is 5 A's, and I'm pretty much nearly there. I tend to do worse in these than in the final exams
My worst result overall is English which was kinda expected tbh since we are studying a play that isn't even in proper English but, you know... the Scottish education system.

Same as Callum above. If i get over a certain percentage then i get to do the final exams. (SQA System)
Higher English - C N5 Business Management - B N5 History - D (Doing Units only now) didnt get enough to do exam. N5 Lifeskills Mathematics - D (Going to speak to teacher to see if i can do Exam)
applyed for college and hoping to do HNC (Higher national Certificate) Business Management (Advanced Higher - SQA terms) then go on to do my HND. (Higher National Diploma)
Grades to get in to college at HNC level are C or higher at Higher English or get a C or higher at National 5 Business Management.
After that, then i have 2 options, do further education in Business.
Or I go and do International Tourism at Glasgow Caledonian University.

K, Im not proud of my scores but euh....I'm working on them First of all idk if yall know how the Dutch school system works so lemme explain it. When you're 4 years old you got to what's called "The Basisschool". When you're 12 years old and you're in what we call "Group 8" the children will be divided into 3 groups and within those groups you have more catagories lemme post a picture: Sidenote, I am currently in the "Pre-university Education" catagory. Where I'm actually very proud of as it is the highest group you can get on at my age. So my notes (10 is the maximum score and 1 is the lowest, when your average is lower than 5,5 at the end of the year you failed your class): Dutch language and literature 5,3/10 German language and literature 5,8/10 English language and literature 6,9/10 Geography 6,4/10 Math (A) 6,2/10 Physics 5,7/10 Chemistry 6,2/10 Biology 5,7/10 Cultural and Art development 6,3/10 Life science 6,0/10 Average: 6,1/10 which is actually not the average to be proud of.

Here are my results of bachelor in tourism and recreation management. The worst you can get is a 1 and the best is a 20, you pass the subject when you get a 10. When you don't pass a subject you are able to do a re-examination in August. Bussiness policy: 5 Legislation: 10 Introduction in tourism: 9 Cultural history: 12 French: 6 Practical cases: 11 Well, I expected to fail 3/6 but of course you hope for better, at least I'm happy I don't have more subjects which I didn't reach so it's still possible to succeed in August on all my subjects.

Well I got my report card for the first semester one week ago too and therefore wanted to post this a lot earlier but yeah. Now I'll do so. Report CardShort explanation: As I'm taking the IB, the grades go from 7 (best) to 0 (worst). For passing the first year, in which I am now, I need 24 points overall, 14 of them in the HL courses. German HL: 7History HL: 6Biology HL: 5English SL: 6Mathematics SL: 5French: 5TOK: ungraded CAS: ungraded Overall I'm fine with my results, but want to get better in Mathematics and History. In the end these grades won't count anything for my final IB grades in 1 and a half years, as all papers and essays which will compose the final mark are ahead of me.

Well I don't know my result for one of my modules yet. However these are the provisional results for my other modules for semester 1. (This is not just from the written exams - as it is course totals including assignments and etc) 70% and over is the highest grade you can achieve (1) and then it goes to 2.1, 2.2, 3, pass, fail. French - 66% (2.1) Irish - 48% (3 - will improve) Critical skills (focused on improving university skills) - 69% (was a bit annoyed because I was 1% off of 70% ) (2.1)
