I've made a short test forum here: songcontestforums.proboards.com/ Under the board we find thing sorted by edition in sub-boards, and in the normal board the allround information, news, wiki, website. In NVSC 1 we can find threads related to it, and we've another sub-board for the National Selections.
This could be the basis of the newly organized forums.
So now what do we think?

How are you supposed to make the threads in the righteous places? I mean, for Other Contest (Size 500+)-board, only an unnecessary few threads will be dealt there (aside from the sub-boards), while the majority will be found for the Starters-board. The way you are dealing with another board for the 'Contest Wiki and YouTube Contests', I don't really know much the experience of seeing the threads in there, that may the members of the forum manage to serve, especially when there's sub-boards and then the thread-section underneath Meh, I prefer the forum as it is right now.

There's not just going to be 2 boards, I guess another for 100 - 300 and another for 300 - 500, but could also easily be changed to one for 100-500 and one for 500-1000.
Those 2 can also be merged into a sub-board within a section of another board in the Other Contests' section, or just merged into the 'Contest Wiki and YouTube Contests' board.
It seems like you don't give it a shot worth trying, because it might be too much work, right? In 1 day I alone can make this happen.

And to whoever is trolling, it's just not nice to do that. No worries, you're already banned.

I've changed things into the better. 3 categories: The starters, 100-500, and 500-1000, after which they can be moved to the Grand Contests section without moving problems.

The more boards (parts) for Other Contests, the worse, because I still can't rely on you on how to manage the thread-section for them all.
The idea you had before was better than your current imo.
A solid amount of 3 boards could sound promising, but still there's the thread-section, which I'm interested on how you think will create a lesser confusing forum.

Because you base it on editions, with the expansion of categories like NS's, Tours & Interviews (Like NVSC), you cut half of the threads, and leave room for the contest itself. Beneath the mainboard the normal info with websites, wiki and stuff pops in.
That's why we create boards for starter contests, cuts all threads at once.
None used threads, will go into either an Inactive Contests' Section or an archive.
Believe me Christian. I'll give you an example. I'm head admin for a gaming forum. This was like this, but we did it, and activity was rising, and our member count: 200 to 4000/5000 in 2 weeks. We're now at 32.500 active members.

I only read gu-gu and other random things. But if you want to become a growing thing, you need to innovate, take risks, and go for the best you can, and I'm just trying to help out with my experience as admin/head admin for some years now.

Not only that, I'm also pointing for the specific polls and discussions, which are lying in the righteous places of the board.ยจ
Eitherway, the admins should move threads more then, if I get to witness newcomers to post a thread in a wrong spot, because they are lesser experienced of the way the forum is built.
