Maarja is ready for the Grand Final!

Turin, Italy - Just moments before the Jury Final, a team of journalists
from ERR and Delfi had the opportunity to talk to

Maarja-Liis Ilus,
the Estonian representative, about her experience at the North Vision Song Contest thus far.

Good evening Maarja, one hour left until the Jury Final will take place, are you feeling ready?

Hello everybody, yes! I'm ready to face the International Juries tonight, but I'm also just a bit worried
about the fact that 50% of the results will be casted in just a few moments!
Anyway, I worked hard with my team in order to deliver a great and touching performance of my song,
"Tulilinnud", and therefore I'm certain we will impress people! Let's cross our fingers!

The rehearsals went great, didn't they? Are there any particular changes?

Yeah, they were on point! We're quite confident on this aspect, and we've improved a lot,
thanks again to my team and to our very hard work.

And not really, no, there aren't any particular changes in our performance setting.
We already had a clear idea on how our performance would look like on stage
before actually flying to

Italy, and we wanted to keep it similar to the
North Laul performance we had back in Tallinn. We're going to have long dresses, wind machines,
interactive backgrounds, but most importantly, our song, with our strong message.

What are your expectations about the results? Do you like any other song in the competition?

I don't like to think about results because they are very unpredictable. I think
all the thing here is about representing your country in the best way you can, to make
your people proud of their music, their culture, their language, their heritage, and so on...
I know how hard, but how fun at the same time, it is to be here and stand up in front of thousands
of people, and millions of viewers, so this is why I'd love to wish Good Luck to every participant!

I love all of the songs, since there was something special in every performance we've seen so far.
I would have also loved to see all of the countries in the final, as many favourites of mine didn't pass.
But there's always a next time! For now, I'd just love to wish everybody good luck, again,
and may the best win!
